So how come pakis failed to stop the strikes?

>>64682034>We're about to see a strange new era of turdie air-combat with museum pieces flying alongside comparatively new aircraft with completely illogical flying doctrines. You could have written this at any point between 1918 and today and it would have been equally valid.
Which caliber is better? Does the shorter length of the .308 while being mostly the same ballisticly make it better, or does the slightly longer length and ability to use heavier grain bullets of the 30-06 make it better?Or is 30-06 better because it sounds cooler and is an American classic?
>>64664630>Which caliber is better? The caliber is the same. :^)Anyway strictly speaking .30-06 will always be superior in theory because the case volume allows it to mog .308.In practice 99% of the time with OTC ammo they're functionally identical.I like .30-08 better for purely aesthetic reasons, the round just looks cooler, .308 is kinda squat in comparison.
>>64664630>Which caliber is better?.308. Period, The End. I don't need to explain myself.
>>64668424>30-06 for anything heavier than 180 grain.Basically, "this". For the average end user, it does not really matter.
>>64677636Is that a Veracity PH? I have one of those. Mine is the 3-15x version. Love it.
>>64681707No, it's a Fullfield 3-12x42. I'm not too enthused with its optical clarity, but the price was right, it's pretty lightweight for its magnification range, and I do really like the reticle. Maybe I'll upgrade it one day but it got me a deer so I can't complain too hard.
Paul never used red dots or really any kind of optic. Was he right/wrong?I also miss Paul on another note.
I miss his occasional jab against gamers and people who "learned" about guns via vidya. You can really feel that gen x loathing
>>64669892With Soviet guns you should be supporting them from the magazine unless you have a foregrip or bipod to hold onto. They're not free floated so your POI will shift depending on where along the barrel you hold it from.
>>64680415If you're using an AK, barrel harmonics are most certainly not a top concern
>>64675266Paul literally owned at least 3 ARs
>>64668600He probably knew red dots were cope who needed it as a crutch. If you've already mastered shooting with iron sights, why bother bolting extra garbage you don't need onto your gun?
>>64679122Nice reference anon.
Well, I kinda have to play my own, I guess. But it honestly sorta sucks. And not only in the "i-it's a W-WIP!" type of way. It's just not really fun.Technically I suppose it's not even a game per se, but maybe a light sim or an app even? Also not wholly /k/ either (except for context perhaps) but more like /g/ x /diy/. Though it's not so much programming as it is math, trigonometry especially, but also with some levels of- you know what, nevermind.

>>64678832people here always loved vegas and vegas 2, i remember questioning it back in like 2013. it was praised for its realism, with its sr25 whose charging handle went back like half an inch, or AKs and FNCs whose bolt was manually pushed forward into battery. never made sense, but I guess there weren't many alternative on consoles and the metagame of unlocking shit was addictive, so people decided the games must be good; because they wouldn't like something shit now would they?

>>64680314>>64680402>>64681265>https://www.buckeyefirearms.org/atf-mass-denial-suppressor-form-1-applicationsATF considers solvent traps suppressor parts (aka regulated under the NFA) which means they had to be Form 1'ed before you even got the parts regardless if you plan on making a Form 1 to make them into a suppressor. This mostly stemmed from the Diversified Machine bust a few years ago. The owner was caught emailing back and forth with people who gave him tips on how to make his solvent trap kit a better suppressor when converted. The owner ended up committing suicide after he was sentenced. There were other minor arrests of other businesses and whatnot but the Form 1 solvent trap business pretty much dried up overnight afterwards.
>>64682045>Form 1'edI meant transferred under a Form 4.
>>64682010Form 4473 AND a Form 4. Your Form 4, which is the ATF side of things, has to be approved first before you can fill out the 4473 which is the background check for serialized items as you know. It's the Form 4's that suck the most, and with Jan 1st rolling around, it's expected to take 6 weeks or so before they get approved. Suppressor companies like HUXWRX and Dead Air are expecting to run out of stock and have an increase in manufacturing so if you haven't bought one now, do it now.
>>64682059I'm not in a rush. I'm looking at a mom and pop shop for a suppressor.l

Grease the tracks on a remote uphill section…. Force it to slow down by releasing cows on track. Board train and force engineers to dump steam and water and stop stoking fire…. At that point it’s not going anywhere. Then rob passengers/take goods. Then ride off on horses.. cut telegraph lines as soon as trains in site to prevent calls for help.. pick somewhere that’s a few miles away from anywhere it’s expected and you’ll have a good head start.. finally find place to stash loot in the middle of nowhere and cover your tracks. Wait a year or so before trying to sell or fence the loot

>>64678450>>64680471Just adding that this claim is popular among former ex-yugoslavs and yugonostalgics but its usually cited as "4th largest in Europe" not the world. It was the largest non-aligned force in Europe though.
