Tabletop RPGs tend to split up crafting into a high number of crafting subskills for every individual area of expertise. It's what got my family into the hunting profession in the first place. Nowadays, we pride ourselves on being a demon-free community. We actually still have the muskets they used back then as family heirlooms. Only really good as a wall-hanger, but an important piece of history.
