>>97374283One thing I have noticed with Bing in particular is that, unlike other models, it seems to give equal weight to every facet of your description. For example, you'll notice that pretty much all of the pics in my collage are relatively close-up; this is by design, because when describing Auré's eyes, if the image was further away, it would spend so much effort trying to include that detail (when it would be hard to see from a distance) that the rest of the image would suffer as a result. In those cases, I would either leave out that detail (her eyes don't matter if the view is from behind or the side, etc), or have her eyes be closed, and the average image quality would improve significantly. In short, look for the details that might be working against you, gauge whether or not they're important, and excise or modify them. Also, being succinct helps. The way some people craft prompts seem like short stories. Each of these prompts below will get you the same basic result, but save you a lot of prompt space (which, with Bing, matters):> she has long, luscious flowing black hair, tied in a ponytail, with short bangs>black hair bangs ponytail
>>97375519Pretty much my experience of Age of Sigmar when I thought I'd try it just after 2nd edition released. Had a couple games of getting raped by lists consisting of entirely of stormfiends with warpfire throwers or minmaxed sea elves before I stopped bothering lol.
>>97321576That is incorrect. 40k didn't overtake Fantasy until the Lord of the Rings years, I would hazard around 2005, and at that point MESBG was so massive it was far bigger than any of those 2. It was after 2007-2008 that 40k became the most played one, when both MESBG and Fantasy had shit editions that started forcing larger armies and nearly doubled the monetary cost of regiments.

Tabletop RPGs tend to split up crafting into a high number of crafting subskills for every individual area of expertise. There's no question that crafting is still extremely powerful despite forcing you to go through this hassle, but what are your thoughts on which particular crafting subskills tend to be the most useful in the context of a TTRPG campaign, be it a medieval or modern or sci-fi setting?Pic related is from Legend of the Five Rings, where I'll be playing a crafter soon, and I intend to invest heavily into crafting. But feel free to talk about any game you've had experience with.
>>97373279Meme non-issue.
>>97362482TRUE Crafting is usually immensely autistic and a lot of people who try to get into crafting end up not being autistic enough to actually handle the system. My homebrew solution is just letting players harvest monster materials and crafting anything from the item list up to a certain rarity as long as the materials/reagents are thematically fitting. Powdered hellhound fangs for fire daggers, tanned elf skin for a cloak of elvenkind, crystallized beholder eyes for various Ray Wands, etc.
>>97373306Only to people who have more immediate issues.
>>97373288>it's actually himJust feign ignorance next time, dude. No one here knows who the fuck anyone really is (even the regulars could be copycats). There's really no need to permanently link yourself back to that one autistic melty.Oh wait shit sorry I mean>nope, I win you lose!
>>97362583I think an even bigger issue is a lot of systems also don't really have systems for crafting higher quality weapons/armor as well. Like, I don't recall there being rules for making a +2 sword in DnD
Based uhh... *checks notes*Based Games Workshop?!

At issue is Grok has no such measures and no plans to implement such measures.Play stupid games win stupid prizes.>Using that issue to wage war against AI in general is just silly though. You can use the exact same logic to ban printers, cameras or pencils. In this case a not insignificant portion of the work product is sexualizing people without their consent. Not really comparable. If cameras were primarily used for illicit purposes, you can bet your ass they'd be more regulated.

Do eugenics even make sense without race theory, 18th century taxomy, 19th century scientific racism, gene theory and that sort of stuff?
>Open drawing program to finally begin my map>Draw a coastline>Don't really like it>Move on to a more stylistic design instead, drawing a mountain mesa>Lines look like absolute shit>Close drawing programLooks like I'm not doing any worldbuilding this week!
>>97375298The Spartans (allegedly) practiced it, thousands of years before any of that, so yes.
>>97374829The big issue with eugenics is that humans mature and breed so slowly that by the time you notice the positive traits you were selecting for also has some really nasty side-effect it'll be too late to easily fix it. Though with modern gene-sequencing technology that would be less of an issue, since you could just genetically screen people to ensure the genes that lead to enhanced strength or intellect don't also cause your heart to explode when you turn 20. Though at that point you might as well not rely on random and clumsy natural mutations and just use genetic engineering to create a race of supermen (possibly to conquer the world?).>>97375067IIRC downs syndrome isn't actually a hereditary condition, but something that happens when something randomly goes wrong with early embryonic development and results in a duplicate set of chromosomes which screws up the proper development of the embryo. You could prevent people with it from being born by aborting any fetus with the syndrome, and the odds of it occurring is to some degree tied to things like the mother's age and exposure to mutagenic chemicals, but it's basically always a random chance that it occurs so you can't really remove it from the gene pool.Hereditary diabetes (as opposed to the one caused by improper diet) tends to onset relatively late, so most of the time people already had children by the times the symptoms started to show up, and when the average life-expectancy was lower the difference it made to your lifespan wasn't that great. In modern times it's easily medicated so the effect on your lifespan and ability to reproduce is minimal.
>>97375298>Do eugenics even make sense without race theory, 18th century taxomy, 19th century scientific racism, gene theory and that sort of stuff?Depends on what you mean by eugenics and what you mean by make sense. Selective breeding goes back thousands of fucking years, but without modern science, any breeding program applied to humans isn't really going to be selecting for "good genes".

>>97374926Armor interferes with the flow of the winds of magic. You suffer a malus to casting spells and channeling spells in WFRP while wearing armor, based on the most protective armor. However, not for all spheres of magic. You can cast spells of the lore of beasts while wearing leather armor without a malus. And spells of the lore of metal while wearing anything metal. It's a pretty hefty malus. If your character is really good at spellcasting, he may start to just take it and wear armor regardless (and elves are really good mages). However, it shouldn't really be worth it. Unless you are a wizard ascribing to the aforementioned lores.Unfunny fun fact: your wizard is supposed to dress in a way that fits his chosen lore of magic. There is no mechanic for that, it's more flavor. But in general, what your character wears can help or hinder the flow of the winds.High Elves can eventually learn all winds of magic, so they may end up looking just wizard-like.This post will be ignored, but that anon will reply to the shitpost

>>97374267It's more like they just see them as subcreations.
>>97375448>And why the fuck is teclis fully armored?Worth noting that he's a wargame character, and these rules apply to the RPG. The wargame doesn't really care about such minutiae. And he doesn't seem "fully armored" either. It's a magical helmet, a breastplate, some greaves. And I really don't remember anything specific about his armor, sorry. Despite having read some of these books. Applying the aforementioned rules, it can be a case of simply taking the malus to spellcasting for the extra protection, and he's a good enough wizard to take this trade-off.>Should elves and dragons be bffs like in warhammer? There is no "should". Both are ancient, magical, power (maybe once) and proud race. Good enough reasons for either being allies or enemies. Depends on the setting, both can be justified.

>>97374341>>97374447In a Star Wars game, my gang of goons and I set up a fight pit next to the bar we used as our base of operations, and the GM found not only a way to balance something like that for the powerlevels FFG put us at, but also to include the whole party in the matches, even when none of us were competing. Everyone could choose to do something to affect the fight: observe one side's weaknesses, sabotage the fighter they didn't want to win, get the audience cheering for their chosen fighter, etc. and it would give bonuses to one side or the other. When it came time for the dice to fall, the party's efforts heavily affected the outcome.
>>97375504The audience cheering is a nice touch, not that appropriate in a samurai duel at court maybe, but I can spin it as someone important to the duelists either looking at them approvingly or glaring at them in disappointment.
