I found a big lot local on FB marketplace for decently cheap with a bunch of paints, minis, and hobby supplies for 200 bucks. I'm calling it a gift to myself before I stop spending money on Warhammer for a long period of time.

I hate when retards post this picture without the text explanation.
The german spaced armour is exclusively designed against AT rifles, doesn't work against shape charges.
USA sandbacks are useless morale busters at best.
The soviet one is actually a life saving tactic in urban environments were a grandpa with a panzerfaust could pop up from anywhere and blow up the tank, the tank riders were supposed to spot, kill or suppress any targets they could. They had way more situational awarness than the tank crew.

To be fair, Fatigue said that the only reason the Leopolds bother coming, helping and saving the expedition was due to some old alliance between the piss-guy medium’s family and them. And Fatigue even added that the SoL’s upper echelons would have disapproved the whole thing. Even if to respect an oath.
>>
>>97234683
I guess it's only fair, since Garou infiltrated vampire spaces when a bunch of abominations diablerised Ennoia.
>>
>>97234767
Not going to bother checking it but it's actually believable to me due to how retardedly written Tremere is
The only thing more retarded than the way Tremere is written is the current CAPTCHA on this website
>>
On one hand, I understand the complaints of scope creep regarding Hunter the Parenting. Characters and plots are piling up faster than the team can resolve them.

On the other hand, it also comes across as VtM fans being salty that another splat and/or a splat that they don't like is getting attention instead of HtP being exclusively about VtM.

Well a quick survey on the wiki says it’s a 7th level ritual, Shadow of the Wolf, and you can find it in the Player’s Guide to the Sabbat. Obviously it’s a sabbat ritual.

I feel like this edition has alot of objectively bad things about it and is absolutely where the alot of worst qualities of current editions showed up. But I feel like I prefer playing this edition compared to a lot of previous editions and 10th edition. Its a weird transitional period where there's still a lot of the old units that haven't been legended yet while still having the fucking Primaris lot. Its strange but I don't feel like I'm missing out on much staying on this edition and playing with friends casually instead of going back to playing the current edition.

You can say that about most editions
>>
>>97231537
Not about 3rd/4th. Everything you needed to know was in the "datasheet" used you didn't get a MTG deck of extras like 9th or a flowchart of interactions between things to buff just one unit.

>redone Primaris
I've been working on one of my own. Can you fill me in on what's in this one?

Hell, at the very beginning of 3rd you could play the entire game with only the core rulebook which is pretty impressive.

Even elven troons don't pass.
>>
>>97232871
Dwarves like that would be agoraphobic.
>>
>>97233986
True, I forgot that in my interpretation, but the rest of it would be true. They would be seeing things for the first time constantly, would have improper or non existant instincts for above ground situations, and likely either a sense of wonder or dread/disgust for everything they come across. Think of an old tiny hamlet medieval Catholic lady obsessively crossing herself every five minutes because she’s walking downtown Las Vegas. A dwarf would be doing similar things for their first time above ground, gawping at the sky or a lake or birds, signing the cross equivalent everytime they see a wooden building or stone structure that was made of brick instead of carved of fully native stone. Would they even understand the concept of windows or think they’re senseless unnatural openings? All kinds of things would be new and uncanny and scary or awe inspiring to them. Might even cause them to become completely neurotic.
>>
>>97234008
Dwarves literally craft windows for underground village homes. They keep the bugs out, while letting them keep an eye on the neighborhood. The primary differences between an underground village or city in a fantasy setting and one on the surface are building materials, flora and fauna, disasters (cave ins, quakes, and floods vs. hurricanes and hail or snow), and the sky or lack thereof.

There may be cultural differences as well.

But most dwarven and even drow cities are similar to surface cities and built in immense caverns.
>>
>>97234156
That’s because the people who write them can’t think about living other ways, but such caverns are rather rare and it makes zero sense build a house from blocks in a cavern when you can readily tunnel. You should go look at the designs of the actual underground cities and villages in human history and see what I mean. Theres one in turkey that held an estimated 20000 people iirc and there’s not a window in the whole damn thing. It’s like a human ant hive.

I’m running a low fantasy game, and social advancement is gonna be a thing. So the PCs are gonna be rubbing elbows with a lot of noble families as they make their way into high society. I’m just asking for NPCs and ideas.
Most of the nobility are humans, but a few are half-elves and halflings.

I have access to a laser wood cutter. It can make shapes out of balsa.

I’m considering using it to make DIY versions of kill zone terrain.

Is there a resource out there that provided blueprints/dimensions for official kill zone terrain sets?

I'm sure they were under orders to make sure the Wolf Scouts rolled the Tau and the stealth suits will get buffed later. That's just how GW rolls.

Also, wouldn't troons be ideal candidates for game design? I mean, they very rarely have kids or other obligations and their autistic brains are perfect for designing competitive games. I mean, compared to the days when GW games were made by middle-aged British dads who just took it on faith that gamers would behave like reasonable people.

It printed fine for me when I had one, and the software side has gotten so good that they should print now better than they ever did.
But they have a rather rough 50 micron screen, so anti alias is probably a must and so it will not reach quite the details that most newer machines can get easily.

Thing is, I do not know if that one supported wait time before printing or if you had to use a workaround. Waiting for the plate to settle against the pressure of the resin is something that only became widely used after some generations and helps loads with printing.
>>
>>97234221
Yes. Elegoo is one of the better brands and the Mars is a fine (if small) machine. Please tell me you didn’t buy second hand though- if so you will likely need to swap in a fresh FEP and/or screen and that will like;y set you back most as much as a new printer, if you don’t own them already.

>>97234152
having a 16 bit (klipper) based printer makes a huge amount of difference; all that firmware end stepper control takes a lot of the roughness out of a print. Though paintjob feeds into it to; even with an 0.4 your brain sort of ignores the layer lines once it's on the table (at least mine does).

I'm being super frank with you, we've seen this coming early on, the game isn't a game anymore, it's a collectible only. FFG has so much talent and a history of running amazing games, they erected a cardboard empire once. Not only that, they kept an entire industry propped up in the US for decades. Ready for the bitter pill? That was before. Now they are a dried up husk of their former selves. They bow to corporate greed and shareholders only now. There's no coming back, they sold their soul to the green devil. You're better off forgetting SWU even existed as a game. Nothing good will come of you sticking around to support the game you once loved. I hope this message doesn't crush your spirit but relieves it of the anguish of never knowing what's going to happen. I have loved many games by FFG, but I love myself more now to know it's of little use clinging onto a deceased corpse of a board game maker, hoping that it will rouse again to reclaim its throne.

You're much better off moving on now. So be free. Try new things.

Factually dumb. Prepurge you could definitely say it was sloppy, overburdened, incoherent, etc, but it was impossibly dense to be called boring considering how much it covered. Skill issue if you couldn't find a story you enjoyed whether it was scifi, fantasy, political, romance, action, etc

>>97234711
Is this just about the distribution of the foils or did something else happen. The game pumps out generic shit every set as the majority of the cards and is still being gobbled up

Unlikely any other decks will be able to use this but Fluffymon and Pinamon are the two eggs with Bird traits that can hatch and then Digivolve (into another bird/avian)
Breeding area stuff is an underrated part of Green's toolbox and it's a lot of fun in Chronicle. Hopefully they keep it restricted while giving it to some of the other Green archetypes it would make sense in (Cherubimon!)
>>
>>97234825
yeah having to run the avian/bird eggs instead of just using st17 gummymon (or even ex2 gummymon) is just a huge downgrade in power and the deck really benefits from a draw egg.
its so much harder to get value out of any of the fluffys of pinas

maybe just playing delta green would scratch that hitch but I'd like to avoid intergalactic reality warping monsters and keep things tech noir / cyberpunk related because the setting is eclipse phase with nechronica and cowboy bebop shoehorned in but anything goes really
