+++ADMINISTRATUM PASS KEY ACCEPTED+++
>Loading message...

Welcome to yet another glorious day in your officio station revered clerk of the Administratum.
Your efforts in compiling the information on [Vokaris Sector] and its eight subsectors have been further garnering plenty of praise from your peers and lords above your meager station, we implore you to resume your task to gather this stellar data about this sector in our glorious Imperium of Man
A brief reminder that as data comes in to your cogitator station via the servitors around you, you will have to compile it and make this sector whole again.
May the God Emperor continue to guide you clerk Anon.

Hello there, Anons of /tg/. If anyone is still interested in this fun project, here is the whole sector - updated with the discovered planets so far - where we can continue to create together, using the planet generator found on 1d6chan.

"Bleakthorn is a glimpse of the future that awaits humanity. The abandonment of Vokaris will start with Bleakthorn, and the failed crusade that brought humanity to this damned part of space will just be the start of the push that truly ends the Imperium with the species nothing but a ghost glimpsed from the ruins of civilization. It's only a matter of time before the Eels reach Ozlox and... What then?"

"Do you really think they will be sated with a billion or so souls of a forgotten forge planet? No. They will rekindle the embers of their forgotten empire and swarm. Then what the Eels won't destroy... The Rokko will. That is the future of man: to be forgotten, to be subjugated, to be enslaved, to be... Exterminated."

"Vokaris is the future of the galaxy preything. Weep, for there's nothing else your misbegotten species can do."

How do you justify a "pest race" like goblins or rat people in your setting? Why wouldn't the dominant species make a concentrated effort to eradicate them if they were a problem?

Quit being weird.
>>97219954
I'm not sure what the new demons are and what is just from Exalted in general. I really like the demon maggot that's burrowed through multiple layers of Malfeas though, that's pretty neat.
>>
Yeah this new captcha is weird.

So, I find it really tough to read Exalted material about demons and hell without a reference for what all these demons are and look like. They have incomprehensible names, and they’re quite bizarre creatures. I can’t intuit what they’re based on their name. The only ones I can keep straight are blood apes & neomah.

Ideally, every time a demon is mentioned, these PDFs would have a mouseover tooltip or hyperlink to a picture and summary of what this thing is.
>>
>>97220650
Even for the demons that have been around for awhile desu. The fuck does one of those deca things look like? I have no idea. God forbid I draw a blank on one too because finding the info to refresh myself is a pain.

I mean okay, normally it's a quick google but still. I think you made a very good point.
>>
>>97220650
>They have incomprehensible names, and they’re quite bizarre creatures
They names are mostly central-eastern European, or CEE-sounding, in nature.
Ligier and Florivet are French.
Adorjan, is a Adorian/Adrian.
Cecelyne, sounds like Cecile.
Javint is a version of Hyacinth.
>>
Talking about it, I wonder how many people know how to pronounce Adorjan's name.

I've been homebrewing a George Droyd monster for my campaign as a CR6 undead construct powered by Mordayn Vapors.

If I want to put it on D&D Beyond, should I just rename it to something like Mordayn Cyborg to avoid getting banned? Do you think anyone would notice?
>>

What a retarded thing to want to do.

I want to make a villain in my game be a murderous Kalashtar GOOlock, and have him be attacking people mentally in undetectable ways. He'd be able to disguise himself, cast spells through an invisible familiar without noticeable components, and all the other fun GOO warlock stuff.

My question is how to make it so the party can discover it is his doing. If he is half a block away casting Enemies Abound through his invisible quasit using gaze of two minds, how does the party figure out he is the cause, especially when some random dude starts going psycho in the middle of a crowd? I feel like it has the makings of a cool villain, but feel like it is almost too slippery. What could be some ways to lay breadcrumbs for my players to figure it out?
>>
>>97220368
>Do you guys like making a backstory for your characters?
I keep it simple. Simple life with his family. His parents, or one of them, taught him how to fight or use magic in general. He has a job, whether it’s working as a farmer, guide, or something else. He’s curious by nature, so he decides to venture out
>>
>>97220783
All you need is one person with see invisibility or divine sense to ping the presence of the quasit. Maybe that isn’t a member of the party, but someone raving about the invisible demon controlling the guy who just lost his shit in the middle of the street might get some attention.

btw the twist for my players is that they don't know they're onboard a generation ship but I'm looking for ideas to get them on a shitload of false leads kthxbye xoxoxoxo merryxmas & hppy new yr btw

It doesn't normally take much for player characters to kill people. The location of something shiny is usually enough.
>false leads
This is normally a bad idea. A game is not a story, and you shouldn't expect it to work like one.
>>
>>97217422
Without knowing more about your party or your world's history, generally anything that indulges or promises to enrich or empower the players is enough.
The price for profit can always be reduced to money. Life insurance is proof enough that even the average person understands how much someone's life is worth

If you're talking about raw power, heck just attach a meta-mechanical benefit for getting a piece of treasure or book. You promise to give them a feat from the book? If it's the first time, you don't even have to tell them it's the worst feat in the book.

>schizo ramblings about being trapped in a lab-test

>abort, retry, fail?
t b h hiding that they're on a generational ship is difficult to do unless you get into megastrucutres. Doesn't take that long to get from one side of a ship to the other and player characters will have inordinate amounts of free time.

I have never heard of an LGS buying lands in my entire fucking life. My LGS restocks lands by people dumping their collections
>>
>>97220792
No, they absolutely do not. You are just not aware of the inner workings of your LGS. I promise you that they buy land stations, because every LGS does. They are the only people its even marketed to really.

Nigga I don't know where the fuck you get off telling me how my LGS gets lands.
I know all the fucking staff, I know how they buy and sell cards, and I've trawled through dumped collections in the backrooms while they're waiting to be sorted.

What a fucking insane way to live telling other people you know local dealings better than they do, holy shit.

>>97220805
There's a pretty high turn over where I am. I'd say maybe 3 or 4 times a year the LGS gets a collection. Parents clearing out houses, people moving out of town, need money etc etc etc etc. I think only twice in all my years has it ever been the collection of someone who frequents the store, but then they're active players so you wouldn't expect them to dump.

>>97220806
I think you're confusing the existence of a land station with how lands are acquired, muchacho

Technically they still are, especially the Commorites, but the Exodites actively reject it and Craftworlders practically don't have the means to reproduce their post-scarcity society, without resorting to the same shit Commorites do (which they don't want to do morally/ethically), due to the fact how post-Slaanesh the natural way to procreate for eldar is severely restricted due to the inherent dangers involved, and they are already an extremely slowly reproducing species to begin with, so they lack manpower to actually expand their craftworlds.
