>why does everyone shit on PF2?
You're on /tg/, being contrarian is like the most coolest thinguest ever. You can read a bunch of opinions from experienced 5e DMs breaking down how the game works extremely smoothly even at higher levels, and then you come to /tg/ and some faggot is screeching about the game being "extremely imbalanced".

You should try it. It's peak 3.5 style gaming.
>>
>>96506591
PF2 has one of the biggest problems from PF1 with build optimization being considered the "correct" way to play in all published adventures and supplements.
It further compounds this by making TURN optimization the "correct" way to play in the same adventures and supplements.

The result is a system that, on paper, offers you a large amount of customization in character options and turn options, but, in practice, is a stifling piece of shit that could theoretically play itself because every round and character will be following an "If, then" flow chart.

If you ignore all the published adventures and shit? It's fine. The same could be said about PF1 and SF1 too. Since most will learn from prepublished shit and that will teach people the "correct" way to play, it is not shocking people who are only familiar with official stuff walk away feeling like it's kinda shit. Every single enemy and event properly scaled will assume you are a build and turn autist though, so it will require the DM to kinda cull that bullshit on a fundamental level which is a pretty massive ding against the system.

my gut says Kaguyamon kills it because another Digimon was deleted but Omni's effect continues even if I it is removed mid effect and bottom decks the other one

Well, I guess the answer was switching to ver.4, at least I can go to bed a winner now.
>>
>>96506439
Okay that my doubt so the effect continues and delete my other digimons so i dont have a way to protect the other kaguya to return at the bottom of the deck right?
>>
>>96506498
Yeah regardless of what happens you're losing both
I just don't know whether the Kaguyamon All Turns kicks in when it deletes the other Kaguya, or if it is gone from the board by the time that would activate
>>
>>96506265
Omni X's effect has to finish before any new effects can activate. Kaguya can protect from the first part of the effect, but she will then be vulnerable to the second.

Ragtag squad edition

>What this thread is for:
/tg/ gets shit done again and is creating a “Battle Bible” (Ala 2nd edition) for 4th edition Warhammer 40k.
>What this thread isn’t for:
Alternative ideas for what 4th edition could include, such as alternating activations, new unit ports, etc. This is a Stage 4 process and so there's plenty of time for that later on.
Don't engage edition warriors, trolls and rule revisionists. We're trying to keep it tight; mannered and objective focused.

BATTLE PLAN:
Stage 1:Finish revising and formatting the SRD.
Stage 2:Compile all GW official erratas into the SRD.
Stage 3: Condense all the codices into up to date SRD. - pending
Stage 4: Make a Hobby Enthusiast supplement for the SRD.
Stage 4: Make an Optional Rules supplement for the SRD.

Update. Scrapping my first draft. I feel that it was too wordy and not straight to the point.
Also I kept feeling as though my writing was wordy in the sense that I am desperately trying to reach an essay word count.

I could use some suggestions on how you all want the writing to be.
Such as whether you are okay with things being wordy so long as they're descriptive and helpful or just straight to the point.
>>
>>96503761
Well you can get a 2++ with sisters on your character using faith points so. The double HQ is mostly due to the name of the list "フキユトフクミ" that I just notice I, misspelled it.
The PE are there because I have 6 of them I'll try to run as much of them as I can, but yeah they didn't do much beside eating shots.
I could easily just give one of the HQ a blessed weapon. Would only be S5, no bonus against vehicles, but keeps the I4 and one re roll to hit.
The third celestian squad could be replaced by a Callidus, but then on HQ must be an Inquisitor.
My main issue was the deployment as I said deploying on the short edge really dick me over, because in other games usually I lose a turn moving 12 popping smoke like you say. Maybe two tops. But here I was 3 turns inside my transport just trying to reach his lines.
Didn't help the damn witches (objectives) scatter towards his direction kind of fluffy though.

Autoloading. Slamming a round in through the magazine well regardless of magazine locks the first round into place. since it's hooked up to a basic belt loop that means the rest follow.

Could anyone familiar with the edition cook me up a quick 500pts tyranids army? I have no idea what makes decent nids army and I don't want to just get rolled over by the homies when we play but I also don't want to stomp them either.

Where does the idea that the Imperial Guard are elite come from? Some of their regiments are literally recruited from Feudal Worlds where the local have never even seen a lasgun before. A good chunk of the regiments are noted for using primitive tactics including WW1 tactics, Napoleonic style warfare, and even pre-historic barbarian savagery. Their lascannons and flak armor might be good by today's standards but they're not good by the setting's standards, they're not even good by the Imperium's, and everybody else has the armor or toughness that makes the lasgun utterly inadequate. Pretty much every conflict of note ends up requiring Space Marines to pull them through, even conflicts against the fucking Tau which are like 1/1000000th the size of the Imperium.

>The Aztecs were on the same level of pussified, they went after tribes vastly inferior to their own
Not really, they were just THE power of the region so most people were inferior, even the ones that weren't "tribes"
A better argument is that their ideal of warfare was completely different, and more about taking captives than killing
>>
>>96502617
>Not really, they were just THE power of the region
They were the largest state because they were a loose conglomeration set upon the best arable land in the region, and banded together to enslave and sacrifice the smaller tribes. They got utterly trounced the moment they received any significant pushback.
>>
>>96482859
The entire imperium is at war 24/7 and this means they'd realistcally be actually good at fighting and have well trained militaries and going off of literally everything you see in the codexes and lore they do except you know they're in 40k so they're pretty fucked when it comes to combat because every enemy either comes in endless hordes IE Orks and Tyranids or is much better equipped IE Chaos Marines, Eldar, Tau, Necrons.

FYI Theres never actually really been any logic to the retarded human waves shit people like to claim is how the guard are "supposed to act" besides 1 or 2 authors circle jerking it hard in a book or two back in 3rd 6th or 7th when they went full retard grimderp and even in 3rd edition lore most guard regiments got fucking paid for their service.

>Aside from malnourished this describes our soldiers to a T kek. They have the reverse problem of being malnourished, in that they're all fucking fat.

Good work on a thoughtfully sorted index.
Now make a template in whatever photo editing software you use, and resize all the images to be one consistent size and dpi. Crop the scanner beds, skew or scale rotated images, and make a leveling action for a consistent white balance across the range.
There's loads of cleaning/dusting (manga scanlation) guides out there if you need tutorials.
Don't include fan/house/non-official rules in the main body, add an appendix (or even a separate pdf)
Get some image compression plugin (Super PNG et al) and you could halve the filesize without image quality loss.
Obviously just my critique, and not a teardown of your compilation.
I'll post whatever relevant other magazine stuff I have (GDW Challenge Magazine?) tomorrow.
>>
>>96506466
Converting to greyscale all non color pages is also a huge file size cruncher.
>>
>>96506466
The plan is to get it all cleaned up and resized appropriately.

Next version I'm going to change it so that each magazine has its own section. So Official WD material, Australian Realms, etc. then of course sorted by material within.

Mostly I just wanted to get this first version out and circulating so to speak. Of course, anyone else that comes across it is free to edit, amend, change etc as they see fit.
>>
>>96506469
I'll need to look into that. I'd like to get the file size down considerably. This is my first time doing something like this so there's a serious learning curve on my part.

How would you make counts as CSM techno barbarians without using too many recognisable 3/4E marine parts? I think a few of these resin bodies with marauder/mutant/chaos warrior arms is a good start, maybe converting the late 6E Chaos Warriors with some CSM parts?

Palladium Games and Rifts General! /PGaRG/

The world is a broken, post-apocalyptic wasteland destroyed by the eruption of inter-dimensional portals, rifts in the fabric of space-time and ley lines which crisscross the world. Demon & alien invaders have poured out of the rifts to destroy human civilization and claim the Earth. Now the wasteland has had 300 years to partially recover, and civilization has returned to the world; but not just human civilization: alien empires, monster kingdoms, lost time travellers, lands of mutants, demonic overlords and wizards have arisen from the ashes, all trying to rebuild the world in their own image!

RIFTS! The science fantasy world of post-apoc cyborgs, wizards, dragons, ninjas, giant mecha, super-nazis, robot ninjas, vampires, underwater kingdoms, remnant human supertech civilizations and everything you can imagine all rolled into one setting where interdimensional RIFTS have pierced Earth's fabric and turned it into a playground for aliens and monsters!

Plus other Palladium Games about superheroes, zombies, classic fantasy, supernaturals investigation and more.

Talk about:

It is so bizarre going from growing up with "never give out any personal information" hammered into basic netiquette to "here is my face, my address, my apartment number, my job, etc. wooooo" that is today. It triggers so much "this is incredibly stupid and dangerous why are you doing this" feelings from me.

I mean, there is a certain retarded logic in it. If one person goes into a cage with a hungry tiger. They're going to get eaten.
If a hundred go in, each has a 1% chance to get eaten.
If a million people go into a cage with a hundred hungry tigers... well nearly all of them will be fine. So what's the problem?
Of course you could just, you know, not go into the cage, but apparently you're some kinda sketchy weirdo if you do that.
