An alternate weird history 28mm/32mm tabletop skirmish game. They're the result of true demons mating with base animals. Hi,

I am only now playing Amnesia: The Bunker and I am amazed just how much in apperance and lore the Monster from game resembles Flesh Eater Courts.

The Monster from game is actually a type of ghoul per lore. The Monster was once Augustin Lambert, who had been transformed into a powerful Ghoul like creature due to the drinking water tainted by a otherworldly substance called Vitae ( this reminded me of Kingsblood "wine"). It is a cannibal monstrosity that stalks the tunnels of game, reminded me of how, for example, a Varghulf would act in closed spaces. It makes its home and sleeps in the Chapel, decorated with gruesome half devoured corpses.

The design of Monster eyes and those immense fangs that make its toothy maw for some strange reason deeply reminds me of Blisterskin court art. In the Blisterskin court art, the ghoul has a semi dreamy/melancholy eyes filled with pure tragedy. Such a powerful imagery.

I bring with me a story, a story I must re-type because 4chan fucked my post in my dealing with IP range bs! Long ago, 16 years and a couple days ago, an anon made a small game called Wizard Battle and posted it to /tg/. Last year, someone on a discord server I'm in told me of the game and told me to do something with it. As such, I've cleaned the game up a bit in some parts, and filled it up in others. No, normal weapon parries are at -2. Brawling and Karate parries are at -1.
Everything else seems to be correct.
Note that these rules seem OK for knives and tonfa, but are dubious for most other weapons. Swords are not balanced for use in one-handed reverse grips (should probably have a skill penalty, or increase ST) while spears shouldn't get reduced reach (one-handed spear use already assumes a large portion of the shaft behind the gripping hand) nor a bonus to deceptive attacks (if anything, a reversed grip with a spear makes your moves more obvious).

Casters should have a theme and if being able to defend themselves fits the theme they should be able to do that, and if it doesn't they shouldn't
If your caster is a magical scholar of some sort like a wizard, then no they shouldn't be able to throw a punch better than any other nerd. That's not part of the theme of being a wizard. Other themes like a sci-fi technomancer, or an alchemist, or a magical deal-maker or summoner, or a seer or oracle, or a magical performer or bard, or a religious scholar or cleric, or a necromancer, also should not being able to defend themselves. That's not part of what their theme is, even if some of these thematic casters get to defend themselves in DnD logically speaking they shouldn't. They might have spells to defend themselves but frankly some of these like the cleric, bard, oracle, or alchemist should not be combat classes with any offensive magic at all.
If your caster is some sort of cultivator or magic martial artist or element-bender, if they're some sort of crusading zealot with a god's blessing, if they're some sort of animist or shapeshifter or shaman with a martial bent then yes they should be able to defend themselves.
But frankly, TTRPGs need less of a combat focus and more classes which are entirely non-combat.

Yeah there really isn't an accepted sci-fi "blueprint" like fantasy, things can go all the way from cyberpunk to space opera.
That said, it's Dune. Dune is to sci-fi what Lord of the Rings is to fantasy. It has its fingerprints everywhere but so do others, but they're like the Conans and Elrics and so on.

Where did you hear that? The only major quirk I can think of is that FTL involves week long jumps of 1-6 parsecs, with no FTL signals. I guess the fuel consumption also restricts the kind of ships you can make.
There's a lot of setting specific stuff, but you don't have to use it, and IMTU (In My Traveller Universe) is common enough in the community to suggest that a lot of peopel don't.

What are the chances that Zikkit's Tunnelpack never come out as a standalone kit? That, like, Underworlds quietly dies with 5th edition and not all of the teams get reincorporated as units within factions?

If I'm not mistaken the Sons of VelJohnson and the Sepulcharl Guard still have never come out standalone, right? Were they ever part of one of those four team sets?

Personally I like the kind who can't be fucked to deal with anything outside of his lair directly so sends a endless stream of bad guys and monster of the week threats because the throwing masses of evil meat at external problems worked totally fine until the heroes/players got involved.

Basically the only way to stop the threat for good is to confront him on his extremely well prepared home turf where he is at his strongest. So the heroes are forced to get stronger and do quests to prepare themselves for what would be certain doom if anyone else even thought about attempting it.

It's fun to play, it's fun to run, the stakes are clear and the long term objective is always looming in focus and the source of all the minor problems leading up to the final fight.

It can also be scaled to whatever campaign length you have to work with.
Basically Saturday cartoon villain plot structure.

The build guides are all on the website and they are pretty shit, not actually showing you where some stuff goes and sometimes just outright wrong. But the minis themselves all have incredible detail and look fantastic painted up. The box comes with a ton of survivor minis to mix and match also.

Which is why you need to use tools for automatic summarization and conditional referencing (i.e. lorebooks) so that the context window can remain within the limitations of your current model. It's not something those AI assistants are designed for but roleplay LLM front-ends have been working with for years now.

The problem with AI assistants is that their actual prompt includes your entire past conversation in that session (or whatever they can fit), so it's just needless bloat to your context memory compared to going directly to the API with your own tailored rules of what the prompt should look like.
