>>97822024I don't think that's true. it's especially not true post interface 5, where there's about a dozen ways to shit out dice. something has humble as a vanilla shotgun can become scary quickly with just EQ and explosive rounds, which is achievable at chargen. even archery is pretty good with only minor investment now, again at chargen. and besides, the most OP thing in red has always been smart glasses with lowlight and a handful of flash/smoke/damaging grenades. until you get fullborgs in the mix, that doesn't change much
I might have actually undersold archery a bit. A bow with a heavy string and in kyudo stance is the highest source of single target damage in the game at 7d6. make it EQ and that's only 750 EB and your ammo is reusable. With explosive arrows you do crits roughly 3/4s of the time you hit on 7d6 damage, with only a -1 to hit penalty and the inability to hit heads. If you use high precision arrows, you can instead make aimed shots at a -5 penalty and 7d6 damage. even targets in metalgear will start to feel that pretty quick. Of course it's a niche build and requires investing double points in martial arts, but really martial arts is hardly a bad compliment to archery anyway!

I play this game once a week and have really enjoyed playing as Heretic Trench Ghost, Heretic Naval Raiders, and Iron Sultanate (no subfaction).I often have Leo pointing/Cap on the Helicarrier moments of recognising references to scripture, liturgy, and history.Most of what I know about the game I learned by playing, but I have seen snippets of lore here and there. It is a fun way to spend an evening with friends and I am glad there's threads for it here!

Hypotheticaly, if one where to break into a vampires lair during daysleep with a permanent marker to draw penises and swear words on the princes face, would they get a check to see if they wake up?Also woukd the markings persist or would the campires body reset them as they wheren't there when he was embraced?
