If you bought/played with any secret lair cards or LotR cards then you have no room to complain about the current trajectory, this is your fault. If you are anti UB because they dont "fit" Mtgs setting, but purchased/played Neon Dynasty, Thunder Junction, Duskmourn, Aetherdrift, or Edge then you have no media literacy because they are all basicly UB sets without an IP attached.
