Yuma - Irrelevent drawback. Without it, she'd be really impressive actually.
Sen - Basically 0. She can't hang wit da big dawgs.

Remilia - Surprisingly tanky via auto regen and medical arts, and can output some good damage with poison. Unfortunately, being a poison build, there's a few builds (like Ghidorah) who can just completely wall her.
Kitsumoto - Basically hoping that chakra mode and his tricks will enable him to pull a fast one and get some good hits to take down an opponent. Only issue is that his raw power is kind of lacking to deal with tougher opponents, and those with aoes will see through his tricks pretty fast in a small arena.
Masu - With her light sword, I can see her making good progress against the more fragile builds, especially with her stealth. Also unfortunately, her damage isn't high enough to carry her. I don't think she can do enough damage to the tankier ones before they figure her out.
Shinro - He's basically wagering it all on "can I range out and have golems beat x before they pin me down?" which isn't a bad strategy considering his strengths. However, builds who can rush him down past his golem and other defenses and chase him down and beat him fast enough despite his bodyflickers or approach in a way he'll have trouble dealing with will kick his butt.
Rinka - Angel Mode is strong, but with rage she'll probably just blow herself up if she uses it in combat for too long. I don't think Dark is as strong as some people think, but it's still a great ninjutsu deterrent. Basically, I see most builds trying to go up and taijutsu brawl with her, which isn't unfathomable for her to lose at with so many strong taijutsu users.
Fujiwara - A really strong pure taijutsu build... if a bit weak due to his lack of drawbacks. Still though, he can take hits and dish 'em out quite well. I think he falls short of some of the strongest builds.

Kuro - Turns out Kuro is fast. Really fast. Some of her shadow stuff is kinda useless, but chakra mode + her fighting styles + swift means she's really quite fast. I can see her rushing down a couple of builds and beating them pretty easily, not to mention that she won't go down fast herself due to her high skill and speed.
Akaito - Zoner with a powerful attack. He reminds me of a lot like Ichika, but in exchange for less raw power like blood blades, he has more defensive options. With concealment arts and subterfuge he's tricker then people give him credit for.
Ichika - I think most people agree that she has the strongest raw firepower option in the tournament. Basically, she'll fire off blood blades or some other aoe, and you have to either dodge it or tank it. Not to mention while avoiding her gaze. That's pretty strong.
Jin - Good ol Jin. 7 Breaths, strong taijutsu, the byakugan, and even good chakra flow. He really has a good method for beating anyone in the tournament, and I can see him pulling a wincon out against any opponent, especially with gentle fist. Only main weakness is his need to constantly breathe, or else he loses out on some of his best options.
Ghidorah - Black Salamander is really strong, and that's his main wincon against basically every build, except for those who can prevent poison entirely. Really, he's a huge threat because of his poison combined with his clay. He's a zoner build, and really effective at it with his minion swamping. However, lacks area denial, and a fast build can run him down and attempt to take him out. You have to be wary about his poison blood blades though, as those are really dangerous.
Kichona - Really similar to Jin, but instead of raw power and speed, she has superior defense and more options. Minions via clay, movement and defense with magma, strong offensive power via combining her natures and sound, all topped off with machina ex boosting kekkai genkai and jutsu, make her really tough.

Remilia's regen and medical arts makes her effectively impossible to take out without a genjutsu.
I don't see Rage as that much of a problem for Rinka at this point. With Purification boosted by the charm and having gotten book smarts, it's been treated quite a bit. Also her Angel Mode is the highest strength skill of anyone.

I took purification because it fit in the motif I was going for, with the whole Angel thing. I took Rage because she's rightly pissed off, not for the stupid "anger makes me stronger" stuff. It's a drawback that Rinka is working to deal with. It was a tossup between it and Emotional Weakness, but Rage fit better because she reacts with anger, not shutting down. She doesn't use Angel Mode all that often, hence why I didn't write her entering it straight away in the FoD, only using it as the fight came to a close. Even if purification doesn't have a mechanical benefit, she would still use it prior to Angel Mode as a form of calming herself, akin to meditative breathing and the like. Her new Book Smarts also aids her in keeping her emotions under control, to prevent the anger building before it becomes a problem.

If that's the case then why not try and run something with them as more of an event from the start? Essentially set up a total war among the Dwarven clans were people can get involved with it being clear that, after the war one way or another, there is only going to be one King beneath the mountains? It's obvious where Rinkaanon wants to go, and made an effort to deal with his drawback organically, but that doesn't strip people of the right to point out that it's a pretty retarded matchup that may severely decrease her effectiveness, depending on how hard somebody wants to exploit her emotions.
Quit exaggerating and putting shit in our mouths to defend a build that isn't yours, she can be powerful and have that drawback, but at least read the CYOA and work through your weaknesses in a way that makes half-sense.

Complaining about "meta perks" is a shit way to go, complain about the quality of the build. Everyone should be allowed to take whatever they want and make their character strong while keeping the effort and fun, and we're allowed to call it uninteresting to pick the safe options.
