I do not particularly care about Star Trek, even the good stuff, but my condolences for those that like what Star Trek used to be. Everything over the last how many years I have seen clips on or gathered through osmosis about the new stuff comes across as utter shit - it must be contemptible for actual fans to see what has become of it.
I hate the STD "objects floating near each other" design philosophy but I have to admit the Athena is nearly a beautiful ship. If the bits were all stuck together it would be really nice.
