What the fuck was he even thinking. Like that shot and positioning could have worked if they, I dunno, made her look injured, had some blood pouring out her mouth, but as it stands it looks like he wanted to do the bare minimum of shooting.

He has nothing to prove anymore. He's no longer ostentatious and performative. He's comfortable in his own manhood. Jeeps rule. Stop trying to impress roasties.

He probably just jetted into Gotham and drove whatever car was at the airstrip.
>>
Is there any car built anywhere in the last 15 years that wasn't an absolute pile of shit or a Toyota
>>
>opening scene of the movie is literally a car commercial

It's been two decades since I first saw this kino as a wee lad, and I still can't decide whether or not the ending works.
>>
It works as a really good signal for knowing early on that Fincher is a fucking hack. Luckily they planned his impromptu suicide in advance that way you know the resolution is as meaningful as the movie.
>>
>>217456969
The ending is a copout but it has to be. This movie is an in-joke about how jews treat their goyim friends.
>>
>>217456969
I just lost
>>
>>217456969
It doesn't work but only because Fincher directed it like total shit. The Douglas character barely reacts to the fact that it actually was a game the whole time, it has no impact despite being the title of the movie. Would've been much more interesting if it was like an anti-Christmas Carol where he doesn't learn his lesson at the end because of how insane the game was
>>
>>217456969
I fucking hate this movie after studying screenwriting because it's too "by the numbers" once you analyze the overall structure.... You can easily tell when this happens in several situations.

UNMITIGATED DISASTER

Also while we're here: I cannot understand why TNG is considered such a golden goose by people like RLM. It's highs are good, but there is so much shit that I would say the ratio of good to bad is like 1:3 even in later seasons. This isn't not the case for DS9 or anything else, but people talk about TNG like it's only the first two seasons that suck and it isn't near consistent misses even after that. The very last seasons have the ghost lust and Wesley siding with the native american indians for example. The whole show is so hit and miss but it's treated as more consistent than stuff like DS9 for some reason
>>
>>217457467
Probably because that's what their old asses grew up on as kids.
>>
>>217457467
that's just what 80's and 90s episodic tv was like, even stuff that people hold up as classic like the x-files, every other episode isn't good.

I used to watch a bunch of porn with my last LTR. She was a freak in a good way. Too bad she was also a whore like all women are
though.
>>
My gf lets me play wth her cute feet while I fuck her. I can do all the feet stuff I want IRL. If they like you they'll let you do all kinds of weird shit just because it makes your dick hard. Porn cannot hold a candle to this.

>but having a gf requires you putting in some effort and doing stuff, and sometimes arguments
Yeah it's called being a man. You have to deal with some bullshit. It was ever thus.
>>
>>217456066
that sounds fun, mine was as much as a gooner as i was, if not more sometimes. i don't have a big dick so thank god we didn't watch porn together because hers would've been exclusively hung negro males
>>
Man ive seen the ugly gfs that 4channers have. Oof. How are you guys able to get off with girls like that? Shit seems brutal. Not even hating cuz really most guys have mid gfs at best, to the point where I'd prefer porn over them. But 4channers scrape the bottom of the barrell

According to Damon, a Netflix movie has to “reiterate the plot three or four times in the dialogue because people are on their phones.”He also confirmed Netflix’s insistence that every movie open with an action sequence:

A standard way to make an action movie, you usually have three set pieces and they kinda ramp up to the big one with all the explosions…. Now, they’re like, ‘Can we get a big one in the first five minutes? We want people to stay tuned in.’

>What is the purpose of this behavior?
People think virtual reality = the Matrix but really virtual reality is how fake simulated experiences can give us actual physiological reactions e.g. watch a horror movie: get chills, get adrenaline pumping and jump at a jump scare; the movie is fake but your feelings/reactions are real. The problem is the simulated experience economy used to be the battle for Saturday night TV, the weekend box office or shop book/magazine spinner rack. But now we exist in the war for your attention span. Watch clip: funny/horny/scary thing happens, hormones and endorphines spike, feel something, watch more, scroll, more feelings, body gets used to it so needs more to feel anything. If old entertainment was some mild weed we smoked to let go of ourself for a while, the new attention span domination experience is like doing fentanyl.

>>217446090
You act like this shit wasn’t commonplace in the 1990s. Watch any hourlong drama. They constantly repeat the plot around commercial breakers in case the viewer changed the channel or is tuning in late. Netflix did not invent this phenomenon.
>>
>>217446800
just write what you want anon
studios are pushing out shittier and shittier shows and movies and are claiming its because its the audience. in reality its likely because their plots are so nonsensical and convoluted (in the bad way, not the intriguing way) they need to restate them constantly so the writers can constantly remind themselves of what's happening
Modern writers are afraid of AI taking their jobs not because AI is any good - but because they're actually so dogshit at writing AI can slap something together more coherent than they can.
they probably spend most of the time in the writers room tweeting and dedicate maybe an hour to "collective writing" per shift, and half of the room is made up of barely sentient women with women' studies degrees
if you write something good, people will find and read it because there are still people out there who enjoy good stories; not many, but enough to appreciate your work

>Mogs Avatar at presenting you an alive, fun alien world
Why that FUCK didn't you tell me to watch this kino? It's absurd how hard it clears the Avatar trilogy while not even being 2 hours long.

And Elle fighting with both of her halves has to be one of the most creative choreographies ever.
