I'm 34 and feel fucked. Working with people mostly ten years younger than me for a shit salary, my fault I guess but moved back to my hometown where there are few jobs. Trying to save as much as possible. Living with single mom who had a breakdown and split with her partner and told me she was moving in with me. Met some old HS friends recently and they are either married or in long-term relationships, all own their own homes and go on tons of holidays. Just rotting away in a small room saving every dollar I can but buying a house alone seems like a pipe dream at this point. I'm just lucky that I'm so bitter, jaded and autistic that a life of living quietly alone some day seems fine to me.
