>Death Stranding 2 OP, if you think you may be interested and like it, by all means get Death Stranding Director's Cut for PC. DS2 follows the story, which is made up of Kojima weirdness, and has a lot of spoilers and other shit. Play the first one first, you'll get way more out of it. Also if you can possibly afford it when on sale, buy DS1DC ; its like $10 on Loaded right now. Death Stranding games have some major benefits to playing online, both thematically in the story, and mechanically - there's sort of asymmetric co-op kinda like an inverted Dark Souls. You can leave signs for each other, use equipment others left, others can contribute to building roads/bridges and other expensive structures with lots of resources necessary, you can deliver packages for other players and get part of their in game 'likes' currency, and they can do the same for your lost cargo, plus a lot more. There's kinda a big thematic bit about the difference in going into a new area that isn't on the 'network' yet and thus its only (You), vs once you've hooked up a nearby city, waystation, distribution center etc.. and now. I imagine DS2 has a good bit of this as well in its own way; I own 2 but am finishing 1 first before I play it. Note that you can set an option that puts your game in offline mode - pirate copies basically have this forced on - but its not really the intended or only way to play. So yeah, if you think you like 2 , id at very least pirate 1 on PC, but if you can pick it up on sale for $10-15 or so to get the benefit of online play. Playing it first will put a lot more into context and avoid some of the fuckups and spoilers.
