I used to love them as a teen. Now I'm 25, been like a decade since I last played one, decided to pick up pic related for the first time and I'm finding it incredibly boring. I played the campaign a while back and liked it. I'll probably pick up the new DLC and do a career mode with some mods at some point.A crb-27sl with dual PPC-Xs was amazing as an ambusher for a good chunk of the game. Fast and could absolutely blow the back out of a lot of mechs while running circles around them. Also I ended up liking the hero mauler a lot more than I thought, shredding guys with 6 machine guns was great.
