I'll defend most of the bullshit in this game, but your clones in the final boss battle on hard both getting your items and having a chance to roll the depression status effect is comically impossible to deal with. Only way out is hoping the AI is too braindead to just walk over and kill you immediately, I can adapt to shit like rolling blood frenzy even if it makes me weaker, but just straight up getting put into an unwinnable position before I even move seems like a design oversight.
