I finished reading it 3 days ago.I had a hard time getting through the "comedy" sections in ep 1 and 2, and I felt like some of the jokes later on about Irie being a pedo and stuff were just plain unfunny. That being said I felt eps 1-6 were overall quite good. 7 and 8 I did not enjoy a lot and was happy when they were done. I also kind of was hoping it would stick with being horror but it felt like post ep 2 the horror was toned down although still quite good in 3, then completely abandoned after that. I guess I shouldnt have expected it to stick to the horror considering Umineko cant stick to being a mystery either.

Dungeons themselves are out of vogue in TTRPG spaces (according to grognards) and playing as the "bad guy" was novel when it hadn't really been done before but now you're just asking for bad press in social media spaces. A Dungeon Keeper style WEG full of monster waifus would be great but I'm not about to hold my breath.
