I don't know why, but it seems like nowadays, the modding community is pretty much dead. It used to be that mods would basically transform a game and would be a completely new experience than playing vanilla. Now it seems like now all that happens is a few basic UI overhauls or some other non-interesting nonsense.I think the biggest sign of this is when the FF7R director asked players not to make "lewd" mods when the game was released on PC. Back in the olden days, there would have been tons of lewd mods on release just to spite him.
