Yk it was a pleasure playing flash games back then when i was a child but there is a one game changed my entire game sense. It was a loot based multiplayer zombie killing rpg where you kill bosses use stats to level up like runescape but its now turned to FUCKING 8 DOLLAR PREMIUM GOLD PASS, OP P2W WEAPONS FOR 36 DOLLAR AND SO ON... I wish there a way to bring back my childhood game where everyone trying to grind fairly and have fun instead of going fucking up the entire game system based on.

We need to ban gacha now. Real otaku games are being suffocated by these shitty FOMO-driven GaaS slot machine simulators monopolizing otaku spending. Gacha has an objectively negative impact on the market just by its existence, as it incentivizes a "race to the bottom" as everyone else is forced to adopt similar predatory monetization models just to keep up. This is not a moralfagging thing; gacha objectively lowers the standards for real games everywhere by being so much more successful for so much less effort in providing a good product. There is zero benefit to allowing it to stay and many benefits to getting rid of it like a cheater in a board game. During the Vita era, this stuff sold like 50k just in Japan. You can't blame everything on Sony/Nintendo/Steam censoring these games for their failure; because gacha has captured the Japanese market almost completely, these games which used to be made entirely for the domestic audience now have to look west to survive, and that means going through western cultural commissars. Gacha is as much to blame for the downfall of retail otaku games as platform censorship, an uncomfortable truth too many self-proclaimed otakus and defenders of these games are not willing to admit.

The world looks pieced together rather than an organic whole and the quests and locations, while entertaining individually, feel disjointed and totally clash with each other. Like, you are told the mind flyer parasite will erode you in a matter of days, which obviously seems rather urgent but then are expected to participate in a war, search for a politician, rescue this or that character, get involved with a hag... in short, take detours. From a roleplaying perspective these things don´t seem all that compatible. Furthermore the character builds are pretty simple/ entry level (because 5e is shit) and you reach the level cap well before the end of the game. At least you are still capable of hunting for gear but it´s still kind of disappointing. All that said i believe the game shines on a few important areas as well. Presentation is fantastic and decision making is really well implemented and accounts for a lot of things like, during act 1 there are two factions in conflict and the player is posed to align with one. Normally even RPGs would force you to choose but BG3 actually allows you to tell everyone to fuck off so if you actually want to roleplay the urgency of your predicament you absolutely can. This even carries on to interactions and combat. You can, for example, split your party, have one member talk to a merchant to distract them while using another to sneak on them and steal their stuff. You can generate reactive surfaces, spill barrels, hit objects or bait enemies into traps. In that sense it´s great.
