Playing for 1cc is really enjoyable because while you need to learn a lot of the game and how to path it, the bar is low enough that your individual skill will carry you quite a bit. Scoring is pretty much 90% memorisation and repetition, it can be fun but I personally don't have the desire to do it. Generally, pick a few you like the feel of and rotate for a while until you start building core skills, then pick the one you like the most to 1cc.

It came with a partial map that you were meant to finish and I only ever beat LoZ1 because I used my cousin's map. LoZ2 is better about that but still kind of nasty, I only beat it because of a friend's older brother. ALttP marks when things can reasonably be figured out on your own and is a great place to start if you don't want to look stuff up on the internet. Link's Awakening is similar to ALttP on the Game Boy and is an easy contender for best game on that system. OoT is great but I'd start with ALttP. After ALttP go with Link's Awakening then do OoT and immediately jump into Majora's Mask. Beyond that you have the Oracle games, Wind Waker and Twilight Princess. The beginning of TP drags on for a while but overall it's a solid game.
