I remember my first attempt as soon as i got out of the sewer from flooded city, 2b shorted mid jump, fell all the way to the caves, then when I climbed up the ladder I kept getting slapped around by machines I would normally kill so easily, of course i couldnt escape and died. It was so frustrating hopeless and depressing, exactly what that part of the story was going for. And it did it all just through gameplay.Nier Automata is truly one of the best.
