>>726041824They're okay. ds1 has a stumble mechanic for axes, hammers, and halberds, where if you miss an attack, your character does a little stumble animation that leaves you vulnerable. They also have some cool r2s, but you'll be doing r1s mostly. Not the best weapon class, but you can dish out some nice damage with some of them.
