It depends on the approach, fren. I've had success with the WUBTB method, so my troubles are:1. Can't sleep again after waking up. Fatigue carried over to the next nights.2. Wake up but fully awake and in my body, already moving, somehow missed the 30 second window. Forget to try anyway.3. Don't miss the window but I won't simply separate. Sticky.4. Bad environment or too tired by life/work/family/previous failures, black out for the night.5. Lack of faith: managed two AP events, but still not sure it's just lucid dreaming with somewhat realistic scenery. 6. Fear: believe it or not, I'm not at all OK with the idea of exploring the "other side" of my old house in the night.Two nights ago I managed to WUBTB all right, but got sticky when waking up, wound up dreaming that I was AP, only I was someone else in another place. The only thing stopping you from astral projecting is fear. Conversely, the closer to the limit of fear you push, the more easily you will exit your body. Meditation is the key.
