My theory for the next volumeMom, whom Yuuma is bringing back, is killing Dad and Step-mom through Hina because Yuuma himself is reluctant to do so. Yuuma wouldn't stop the ritual because getting his Mother back is more important to him than getting to safety (Why he rejected the officer's help) presumably because mom would take care of him, if she came back.
