Besides that comic shops give out freebies, crowdfunders sometimes throw in some floppies of the book as a free bonus and some indie comics only come out as floppies. I have thankfully been able to keep myself away from buying any expensive floppies of buying loads of cheap ones from dollar bins so my collection in small.I think the format itself is fine, maybe even great being so light and being able to fold the book out flat to see all the 2 page spreads. Most of them are far too short and they barely have a complete story in them to justify their existence unfortunately especially at the price of modern ones but I don't read much modern stuff. Also storage is just a pain, pulling them out of bags and boards instead of just pulling them off a shelf is a hassle if you want to read a few issues
