Here with my new scale (left).
It absolutely mogs the one on the right.
It's slightly more expensive - 10e vs 7e, but it's absolutely worth the extra money.

The old one:
>uses AA batteries. haven't had to replace after 2 months of use, but I hate the idea of needing to buy new ones at some point
>flimsy plastic cover and no rubber feet
>tiny plate, so anything like a bottle or a jar without a flat bottom won't sit, meaning you have to use a coaster or something flat below
>screen is up top, so most things will block your view of it. so you also have to use some small cup to gain height and stack on top like it's jenga

New one:
>built in battery, charges with usbc or micro usb
>it's bigger but I only use it at home so w/e
>better build quality even if it's still plastic
>has rubber feet to prevent sliding

lol you are retarded. do you not know how to remove apps from windows? when i install windows i have basically zero apps installed, there's nothing to complain about, i think notepad is the only thing i have installed. yeah you don't know how to use windows it sounds like.
>godawful spacing and layouts, also fuck rounded corners and circles for things in grids
so use a tiling manager, what's the fucking problem?
>Paint goes from needing 7MB of RAM on Win10 to 270MB on Win11
nope, wrong
>and they shove Copilot and being logged in into everything, even fucking Notepad and Paint
nope. i don't even have copilot or paint in my system, and didn't need notepd but i installed it because some software requires it for changelogs on install. but you didn't need it, so why did you install it?
>then you get news of all the broken system updates that were written by AI
sorry that you don't know how to remove the AI in your system, you should maybe learn how to fix that. My windows has no gemini or recall on install.

I don't play games but they seem fucking cheap for what you get.
What's the catch?

At work we pay a few dollars an hour for big on demand gpu's.
If the alternative is buying a new GPU in the next few years would say it's a reasonable choice
>>

Cloud gaming is not living up to its potential. Nvidia recently added a 100 hour limit. ShadowTech takes too long to launch. Every service takes too long to launch the games. Stadia was pretty fast to launch. Additionally, there is no cloud only game as a service unless you count the io web game genre. Seems like a no-brainer idea for something thats clearly going to "take over". If it takes you longer than 30 seconds to get to the main menu and longer than a minute to start playing, the game is probably bad. You don't have to believe me, just get a timer out and try it with the games you play. All the games that issues take longer than 30 seconds to reach the main menu.

Because they realized that their customers are so fucking braindead that swapping expensive computer CPUs with cheaper cellphone CPUs was going to go unnoticed. It worked and confirmed that people really are that fucking stupid. They found the next iPhone cash cow and are beating the shit out of it.

>with cheaper cellphone CPUs

ARM CPUs are actually pretty solid, but they really should have maintained x86 support on the software front. You never know what kind of cpus AMD or INTEL might come up with in the future.
Also you should just kill yourself for phone posting while seething about ARM.

Feels like LLMfags are on the defensive these days, sure you have some "YOU WILL BE REPLACED LUDDITE" rhetoric from some of them but now there is also a lot of guilt tripping and whining that comes from them as well. I am not so sure why these people are so pushy on people adopting LLMs, it didn't take long for cell phones to get adopted in comparison.

Low settings at 640x480 is not an argument, kiddo. I ran the FEAR's benchmark like a maniac at the time, and remember the sweet spot very well.
It tells volumes that FEAR's test's "high" score is "45fps and more".

The Sovereign Tech Agency (Germany) funded $562,800 (half a million) worth of development on ALPM (Arch Linux Package Management) work. That work was focused, almost entirely, on creating “Rust libraries and tools” for Arch package management which “aims to maintain compatibility with pacman”. As of this moment, the Rust ALPM has not replaced Pacman entirely. But common sense would indicate that replacement is a goal (otherwise the heavily funded development would be nonsensical).

By the way, existing Arch package management tools (such as Pacman) are licensed under the GPL. The new, Rust-based libraries and replacements are licensed under the MIT license.

How is that strange? It colors the two bars that gets swapped as red. Quicksort does use two pointers moving towards each other and swaps corresponding values that are respectively less than or greater than the pivot selected.
>shouldn't the most effective method be one pass + binary search for nlogn?
You are not making any sense. A binary search is an operation done on an already sorted array; it doesn't sort the array.
