So I have the choice of buying a $400 7800X3D and buying a $70 cooler or buying a 9800X3D for $470 and get a $90 free AIO liquid cooler from new egg deal for free.

Honestly its just going to be expensive either way so might as we get the best CPU. And even though 9800X3D performs similar their are some games like baldurs gate 3, dragons dogma 2 where the extra power comes in with higher fps
