Lets discuss the current present and future of 4chan. the possible end of 4chan and what (if anything) in the wake of its ashes or rebirth. Its no secret that 4chan has been on a steady decline over really one could say more than a decade excluding /pol/ shit, but recently it has NOTICEABLY declined in the last 6-9months particularly after the sharty hack. What once were fast boards like /b/ and /v/ are now a trickle. There barely is any content anymore aside from bots. Culture wise everything feels just empty, like what is the point anymore even for shitposting.Aside from the sharty hack, there's an increasing amount of botnet/proxy users like ecker/cumg and a ever increasing arms race of making posting nearly impossible with endless cool-downs, captchas, IP age checks and filters. Which in turn is causing people (even non-shitposters) to use these services/proxy posting because posting ligitimatly is become increasingly impossible normally.I don't want to doom post but I really do think 4chan is in a death spiral right now and its not going recover unless something really drastic or reinvention is done. What are you thoughts /g/?
>and its not going recover unless something really drastic or reinvention is done. There's nothing that can be done without basically sacrificing everything that makes 4chan in any way or form unique, the reality just is that if you have even the slightest of creativity, there is zero gain or interest in putting out OC on a site that just basically serves as the sewage system of the internet where all the otherwise gatekept and banned mentally ill individuals reside in.The enjoyment and quality of the site is entirely in the hands of the userbase, and the replacements of the people leaving before 2011 were not very good, and were basically only here to leech and not contribute at all.Even in a bizarro dimension where you fixed the bots/avoiders and the moderation wasn't that of what you'd expect out of free volunteers, the ever hurtful reality would still kick in:Nothing Lasts Forever>>107578325dev.4stats.io
>>107578335>dev.4stats.ioAw shit it seems the chart for /vt/ is disabled for some reason. That board was an interesting case of having most users migrate to an alt during the hack and remain there, causing a death spiral on the original board.
Yeah no kidding. 4chan for the majority is pretty much exactly how it was at its conception, new generations find this type of design/interface off-putting.And current users only get older and bored with 4chin and leave. And so you have old people leaving and no new people jojning. What do you think is going to happen?
>>107578130my theory is everyone is trying to "ragebait" eachother these days. I define ragebait as this thing where unlike trolling or baiting you aren't even trying to make it funny, youre only trying to make the other guy angry even if its quite a dreadful process.retards have started doing this thing where they wont just immediately troll or bait an obvious or at least funny way, instead they'll engage you in a honest conversation for about half a dozen replies and then they'll randomly do a 360 degree turn and start posting very disingenuously and its just human nature to get a little angry at that point, but i guess in their mind they've "trolled" you so they win. Once this has happened to you a few times you just get this general disdain from engaging in anything. Thats why all the conversation on here is so shallow compared to what it used to be.

>>107578333AI usually doesn't touch storage at all during prompting. However, the shit it outputs needs to go somewhere, and that is storage. Storage is layered, so the first it will go into is SSDs, but because density of HDDs, and cost per TB, are still favorable over SSDs, the data then goes into HDD based storage.

iirc, calamares, the installer has different options depending on online / offline install, requiring a toggle. And, also has different options presented depending on how the partition layout is setup before install. That's it basically.

>>107568374The Balkans, namely Bulgaria, have the lowest rates of rape in Europe as a whole. We might be drunks, addicted heavily to nicotine, gambling addicts, BUT NOT rapists. Most of the retarded shit that we do harms mostly us and our families, we aren't some barbarians who hurt other people. I've got a lot of crime statistics on my phone and PC, but the short of it all is that the Balkan people commit less crimes than basically everyone in the West, sometimes even the native population of each country. The only obvious exception to this is Albania. They commit all the crimes that are then blamed on the Balkan people as a whole. Or even worse - the gypsies.
