im thinking about getting one of these soon, i have an m4 mba im really happy with but i want a more powerful desktop equivalent
specifically im thinking of speccing out the m4 pro mini but sticking with the 24gb of ram and 512gb ssd, i dont need that much space and i dont run a lot of stuff parallel
but its like $1600 compared to the more economical base spec mini, idk if another $1000+ for a bit more cpu and double the gpu
my uses would benefit from it sure, but this near base spec 10c/10c/16gb/512gb m4 mba is doing what i want fine
is "better" but the same really worth a grand, idk
anyone whos got an m4 pro based mini or mbp have anything to reference? is it that much of a leap over the regular m4?

After watching a bunch of clips I can see why people like this. There are many genuinely funny moments that catch you off guard, like when the guy gave her google search features and she searched for things like whether it was illegal to do money laundering in international waters.
One particular video was pretty revealing as to why she works so well. In it, the girl was talking to another AI in some sort of game where you're supposed to help a stranded space pilot in an alien planet through dialog. The pilot had perfectly fluent speech, natural voice and responded well in the conversation, which triggered strong disgust in me. Neuro, on the other hand, had a much flatter voice and cluncky speech, which didn't hide her AI roots. That came across as cute. I'm the type of guy that needs to turn off any personality on chatgpt because I can't stomach anything other than robotic responses. If I was able to tolerate Neuro, that's an achievement.
