why does "reversing" imply decimal? Shouldn't it take the radix as an argument? I've needed to reverse numbers in binary more often than in decimal. And yes the length mattered in those cases.
>>
>>106485306
Because the question shows a decimal reversal after the id est.
>But, it could be any radix greater than 3
General convention is that numbers are assumed to be in base 10 unless specified otherwise explicitly, with a radix subscript or informed by context.
>>
>>106485306
>length mattered
Were you reversing fixed width binary integers? In which case the reversal should automatically be informed by the word size, I can't think of a single case where it makes sense to reverse 0100 as 10 and 00100 as 100, if they're of the same integral type.

Theoretically, can you completely de-India your computer by only using software without any Indian commits? Linus removed all Russian code from the Linux kernel, so something like this is certainly doable.

What's a good base to start with for building a non-Indian OS under a free licence? Arch?

Both are good and should not be discarded just because jeets use them.

Does anyone know if it is possible to share the connection from my PC to my phone? I was thinking of running a server at home and connecting my phone to eliminate a mobile data plan to cut costs. Data providers in my country has started to slow down the speed of mobile internet so I would rather get faster fibre connction and connect it to my phone but maybe that isnt possible?

We as an industry need to put more time and value into optimizing. Our machines are already very fast and powerful, just underutilized / wasted. It's possible to do the same workloads with less.
>>
>>106484555
Running everything locally has always been the most efficient way to do anything, but that takes away power and control from companies. The only reason why everything moved to data centers is because they want to have complete control over their users and charge them rent just to use their own devices they already paid for.

I decided in the last month or so that I need to replace my current phone, and was originally planning on buying a Samsung phone, however with Google recently announcing that they will be pushing new APK installation restrictions to Android via Google Play Services and with Samsung deciding to completely kill off unlocking the bootloader in OneUI 8, and therefore removing the ability to install non-stock OSes which avoid the aforementioned restrictions from Google, they are no longer a viable option.

These recent changes have made the ability to install alternative de-googled OSes such as LineageOS or /e/OS non-negotiable. Given that I still need to buy a new phone, what are /g/'s favourite phones which have good de-googling capability?

Hey lads, so there is this T14 gen 4 with an I5 1335U that I found for close to $400, I know that intel processors are lackluster for a few years now and that this specific series of processors is on the 10 nm node, but would you nevertheless say that it doesn't suck enough to invalidate the whole machine

human slaves require a livable wage and only work 8-10 hours a day with weekend and holidays off
robot slaves can work 24/7 and are mostly a one-time purchase except for maintenance and electricity
1 robot for $10k replaces 3 workers that require $10k yearly in the best case scenario offshore manufacturing
