nueralink or whatever is vaporware and still too scary for normies anyways.

BUT would you pay to get a small speaker with bluetooth like capabilities implanted into your ear that you can connect to at anytime and never have to charge?
ignore bluetooth being a pile of shit for now.

Bit of a long retarded question but I'll post anyway:

I've been learning a lot of stuff thanks to Gemini but I wanted to ask a real human, are there any decent, good resources that go over computing on all layers (from nothing to software)?

I'm serious about learning but these chatbots don't do anything but crap out whatever you mention it and they don't really go out of their way to name everything (even after I explicitly tell it to), I'm very peculiar and I don't need much more than a rough "global" diagram (or map, mental model) to see where concepts, abstractions and everything else lies in place, I didn't even know about an ABI until someone from here told me about it and I fear I'm missing a TON of knowledge, many of the books I skimmed trough were vague, very non-descriptive and impractical, I'm not saying they don't help but definitely don't paint the picture in how the layers come together to form something useable, I'm aware of a lot of things but I'd love something peculiar and "monolithic" like that, I could always dedicate myself to specializing in something, I just need a very solid foundation. I applied to a few fagman positions last year and got 2 interviews but bombed the OAs (they asked me leetcode hards), should I say on my resume that I've been "freelancing" for the last year to increase my chances of getting interviews? I imagine it would help with midsize companies but with shit like google or facebook I'm sure they already have my past resume on file and would call out my bullshit or blacklist me for "lying"

No effect. The customizations overrode that, so I deleted the active .emacs and tried it again. At first that still has it as the default scroll bar theming so while still in that state I set the scroll bar bg to black and then the lines could be seen again just as they always appear. I am pretty decently certain at this point that it's a matter of grk just like the top menu bar is.
>>
>>107817468
it's a matter of whatever toolkit your emacs was compiled with. See https://www.emacswiki.org/emacs/ScrollBar
>>
>>107817551
Yeah, I'd tried the css in that but it had no effect either. Pic is how I made my top menu bar black and the menu text dodger blue.

I've also tried css in this file to change the file chooser/picker scheme and it didn't do shit either. Whatever sources I found for classes is apparently either outdated or there's some other variable that the Debian version uses.

The tooling alone has me reconsider my position and learn it.
Would you please say which tooling in particular? I haven't seen any kind of tooling in Clojure that have made me think "wow, we need this in CL"

been distracted from ai art and chatbots for a few weeks now as I got back into fallout 3 and skyrim Se again after not playing skyrim since 2022 and fallout 3 since 2016. also injected ai using ai and mods into skyrim so thats a huge part of why I got distracted as using mic to talk to skyrim npc's and have full conversations is surreal AF.

NOW onto ai art again as I loaded up perchance and made some dumb shit for a laugh. confused demon finding a real life payphone is the current dumb theme im making for a moment.

how long does it take for these conversations to break character? the idea is really cool but these sorts of LLM plugins go off the rails so fast
>>
>>107817944
not overly long. If I travel with someone I can get decent conversation for quite some time but it does like to try to write things in that dont exist a bit often (imo). just last night when goofing off with the playable monster mod it had a necro trying to write scenes in text of it destroying my skeleton after we argued but in game my guy was fine and didnt have anything happen as the ai only seems to be super limited in how much it can effect the game or not. so I just had to say on mic oh your cute spell doesnt work on me and than the npc paniced. but for the most its ok without going off rails too hard. but it can break super fast if one pushes things. but its fun to mess with but needs more time to be taken serious and git gud. but for now its tolerable to use and can enhance things a bit (plus it can do limited things like summon some npcs to spawn with a basic plot and script to them but it seems a bit spotty).

I could say I could make them without AI, but Id be lying since it would involve an API or module that I might not know how it works.
I could surely guide it in the right direction though once things are written down rather than starting from scratch.

For example, I wanted to make a project that applies a white layer with noise with the soft light blending mode, to any image.
However, this involved doing extreme mental gymnastics between a layer module and a blending mode one that would've taken a super long time to figure out without AI to point it out. Once it made the solution with the code, I knew that it worked and that it was all correct.
