In 5 years, every new car (be it electric or ICE) will have a huge touchscreen, and it will display ads while you drive, and people will think it's not a big deal.

mpv is such a fucking mess currently. I find it hilarious that all of their attempts to make colorspace handing "smarter" has completely backfired, and now mpv is utterly incapable of displaying correct gamma by default, forcing everyone to disable all forms of colorspace-hint and manually adjust contrast ratio until they just revert everything from the past 2-3 months.

There's a reason why mpv never touched gamma on anything except HDR sources. It's almost as if SDR gamma is completely ambiguous and most people don't care about it... Even mplayer has a less washed out picture than mpv now.

I'm at my wits end here - I'm getting extremely slow performance (I know it should be slow, like 3-5 tk/s, but this is too slow) with GLM-4.6 on 128+24 (4090).

Running a simple llama-bench.exe is taking over 30 minutes with -p 16k and -n 1k.

No idea what's wrong here.

There's plenty of other solutions besides an SSH tunnel + SOCKS proxy though. Can't you just throw up some kind of Wireguard or OpenVPN solution?

I just did a little searching and there's already pre-canned docker containers ready to go, and if you don't trust them it's not hard to just roll your own.

These consultants just rape these companies with unnecessary requirements and are 100% full of shit and lazy as fuck.

>Just like outsource to the cloud, man! Don't want to have to pay thousands a year for your VPN!

And people actually pay for this.

>MPLS
You act like finding a DC with literally 5 different Tier 1 providers all willing to sell you cheap bandwidth with an SLA is an expensive thing these days.

>Additional security
Locked racks/chassis with intrusion detection and SED. Are some randos going to walk into the DC break into your rack and manage to get the keys for your SED devices?

Of course with software based whole disk encryption you could technically jack the RAM out quickly enough to read the keys before they fade from memory, but I can only imagine it is significantly tougher than that with self encrypting disks.

I literally run that shit on my own home setup.

Eric has failed us, he has literally one job, and that is to provide 25 puzzles, per year, on schedule. Now it's only a 12 day challenge, how can you even call that "advent" of code, which is supposed to count down to Christmas. I am outraged, and you should be too. What if Santa's elves just decided to stop making half the toys??? Ridiculous.

>Also, starting this year, there will be 12 days of puzzles each December.

>Why did the number of days per event change? It takes a ton of my free time every year to run Advent of Code, and building the puzzles accounts for the majority of that time. After keeping a consistent schedule for ten years(!), I needed a change. The puzzles still start on December 1st so that the day numbers make sense (Day 1 = Dec 1), and puzzles come out every day (ending mid-December).

Every day has three parts. One for idiots, one to confirm you didn’t just look at the input and solved it in your head, and one’s the real deal.
20 datys x 3 parts is 30 puzzles. And unlike Eric Fagstl they add even more puzzles throughout the year in mini 3x3 stories.

I iterate a lot. What's a good one to make inpainting/outpainting more seamless? In Comfy it's an absolute chore to mask things without leaving the work up to Masquerade nodes when what I really want is the ability to adjust settings on the fly without loading in the image with my changes everysinglefucking time.
