> do you have a test for a simple type of reasoning

not the guy you asked, but apple published a paper a while ago that showed these models are insanely brittle when you change the prompts for the puzzles by even a little bit. stanford researchers found that they could get models to basically regurgitate 95% of scraped books under certain circumstances.

it's hyperbolizing, but not by much, to say these systems are huge lossy/stochastic compression systems. like great, i can get 96% of harry potter or a new york times article if i prompt for it. no shit, because they scraped that data and an LLM is just a statistical model of the documents you trained with.

i can find the citations for the stanford and the apple papers if you want, but my hunch is the other guy might point to them and i'm lazy right now

>which means they do whatever the banks tell them to to live another day lest their entire loan get called in at once. immediately bankrupting the government.
If it came to that, same as the Templars getting their cheque cashed, the government would arrest the central bank's directors, and declare the outstanding debt forgiven, because, as has been a lesson throughout history, forgotten in our decadent age, a contract is nothing without the means to enforce it ,and if the other guy has an army and you don't, tough luck.

That's a fair answer I suppose, but Claude is legally blind and has no visual memory. Gemini has beaten Pokémon by using a scaffolding that keeps track of the locations it has seen.

>>107838740
>apple published a paper a while ago that showed these models are insanely brittle
That paper was debunked. Some of the questions they asked the models were provably impossible.

It's hyperbolizing, but not by much, to say that human brains are huge lossy/stochastic compression systems.

It doesn't matter cause like another Anon said, the work Valve is putting into improving Linux gaming is benefiting all distros anyway.
>>

this is true. valve has done for linux gaming than every distro combined x100. wine is shit and has always been shit, but proton is on a whole new level

Desktop mode is near stock KDE. They don't hide it at all the moment you leave BPM.

Nah, they just got HDR working in Wayland and built Fex for shits and giigles. They absolutely care about Linux, as a means to their own ends.

Might have found a possible solution to my 490 pro problem. I discovered the cushion strip at the top of the headband is removable. If I do that there is just enough room to get them over my ears. But if I do that there is a bare wire exposed and I'm worried if I leave it like that sweat and other stuff might get up in those cracks. How risky would it be to leave it like that?
I was thinking would it be safe to run a strip of duct tape over it so it's covered up at least? Could duct tape have any adverse effects on it over time?

I already have 4 other chinese watches. 2 nh35s, an st1901, and a vk63. They're all incredible value. I also built two out of ali express parts and gave them to friends. I don't really need a guarantee as I have all the tools needed to just swap out another nh34 movement whenever I want since they're only $40-60. You can change these like tires rather than actually service them.

The Sovereign Tech Agency (Germany) funded $562,800 (half a million) worth of development on ALPM (Arch Linux Package Management) work. That work was focused, almost entirely, on creating “Rust libraries and tools” for Arch package management which “aims to maintain compatibility with pacman”. As of this moment, the Rust ALPM has not replaced Pacman entirely. But common sense would indicate that replacement is a goal (otherwise the heavily funded development would be nonsensical).

By the way, existing Arch package management tools (such as Pacman) are licensed under the GPL. The new, Rust-based libraries and replacements are licensed under the MIT license.

Hence why you should find a phone that does have it, OP.

Stop listening to music on portable devices. It is satanic. You should be playing music instead, as in with real instruments, and ideally with other people. If you absolutely 100% cannot play music, then a home theater setup for occasional listening is fine. But do not listen on portable devices.

Every idea I have has been done 5 times now. It doesn't help my only ideas are types of social media, and I'm ready to just give up because no one gives a fuck.

Seriously though, is there any point in trying to become successful? I could just build stuff that makes me happy and I can feel proud of, instead of caring what others think and stress myself out with users.

Well to elaborate, I think you should try programming more for the fun of it than to make something that will be used by others. Being a "good" software developer isn't something that neccessarily that makes you wealthy, it's more about riding trends and appealing to the masses.
Make something challenging but within your skill level. Learn C or some other language that's closer to hardware. Or perhaps learn about old CPUs and write assembly.
>>
>>107838014
>Every idea I have has been done 5 times now.
That means it's a good idea, as it has succeeded several times already.
>It doesn't help my only ideas are types of social media
Social media has the chicken/egg problem. You need new users, but nobody is joining because the place is empty.
>Seriously though, is there any point in trying to become successful?
The system is rigged. You can work hard to become successful, and maybe you will be. Someone else can just go to the bank, get a pile of tax free income called a "loan" and just buy success.
>>
>>107838014
Is your idea to make some big multi million user application? Well of course it's going to be done to death. Big corpos have a monopoly on that sort of thing.

Return to tradition with the old internet way of doing things, just make websites for things you like and for small communities you want to cultivate. Fuck mass appeal.
>>
>>107838549
I don't try to compete with big social media, but even a niche community is a PIA to moderate. Being a janny is a huge toll on mental health and anything I build must either be zero moderation effort or have an extremely high entry barrier to post. I already have some ideas but it's just so demotivating knowing a functional site won't get me a job/secure a good future because literally nobody gives a fuck! HR karens don't care what I learned and what I'm capable of

If you look at this diff, the question was in the other faq document already, which is why it was removed from the structured-data-firefox-faq document.
But if you look at the current state of the faq document, that question has been removed from there as well.
However in the current structured-data-firefox-faq document it has this question
{
"@type": "Question",
"name": "Is Firefox free?",
"acceptedAnswer": {
"@type": "Answer",
"text": "Yep! The Firefox browser is free. Super free, actually. No hidden costs or anything. You don’t pay anything to use it, and we don’t sell your personal data.\n"
}
},

So it is kind of a mess.
