>>107816536The most expensive I own is a Feenix Autore. but I only paid $50 for it. The metallized keycaps are cool but I don't use it because it's mxbrownslop. The most money I ever spent on a board is $80 for a keychron somethingorother that I also don't use.My daily driver is a corsair K70 that I bought for $15 on ebay and swapped all the switches for box navies. I unironically like the shitty ABS keycaps.
>>107837726Not nearly as low profile as those switches, also I don't know how well split ergo would translate to higher typing speed, if you haven't used ergo it takes a while to get used to and almost everyone I've seen has to work back up to their normal WPM. If you're really set on it that's on you to bite the bullet I guess. As you can see in that video... it's really just an end user issue, rather than the hardware after a certain point. Like the moment you get 1000hz and mid-press actuation you're already basically set.>>107838286And here comes the coping faggotry.I already know about rapid fire, it doesn't change the fact that the world record for WPM ignores that shit entirely by>setting his actuation at or even lower than the MX standard actuation points>his fingers come all the way up anywayAs I said, you troons cope sooo hard and think you can feather your fingers 0.01mm while typing at speed, not true. Go watch that video again and listen to how he is fuckin' SLAMMIN' the shit out of those keys. You're just a hypebeast subhuman who wants to write of any and all valid criticism as "muh fuckin' luddites n sheiiiiiiiiiit", which is ironic because analog input on keyboards is not new. It is, however, the newest gimmick gayming companies convince dipshits like you to get because you think your hardware.>uses 3.2mm actuation on Shift keysLike... lol... analogfags are such jokes.>b-b-butDo you type at 300wpm? Nope. That dude was using normal ass Brown switches before in 2021 and 2022 and was still typing at around 230wpm average btw, and only stopped using it because his keycaps faded.
>>107838286>>107838711Oh, and you wanna know an even simpler reason why rapid trigger* is fucking useless for typing? Because... you are not keeping your fingers on the same exact keys when typing, with any typing form because... you only have 10 digits, retard. Two of which are preoccupied on the spacebar only, so actually 8 that can hit alphas and mods.Even for gayming its only real proper use is rhythm games as a tiny form of assurance.
>>107838734>Even for gayming its only real proper use is rhythm games as a tiny form of assurance.I do just want the best keyboard for rhythm games, not just for OSU! but 6-8k games like EZ2ON Reboot R and PROJEKT GODHAND. I simply dislike how most if not all mechanical keyboards put up a bit of resistance against my fingers making key presses not feel very seamless.I've never tried a low profile mechanical keyboard before, mainly because they never get talked about. But I do enjoy typing on a laptop keyboard significantly more than all the others non-ergo ones I've owned. Part of the issue is I have small hands so I prefer sensitive switches that I can subtly press without applying force to it, so I don't have to reach further to apply the extra pressure. I spent over $600 on a custom made dactyl manuform that lets me type quickly without moving my hands and it's the best thing ever. But I want a regular 65-75% keyboard with arrow keys for gaming.

You go about in pity for yourself
Just do what you think is important to you man. It will come in time(s).
Don't need coding knowledge to do any of that stuff. Maybe a bit of bash to automate stuff if you wanted, but probably ways around that too.Just use Claude or something as a replacement for a search engine. It's great to have faster responses with ADHD. Just always be skepticle as most models are either prone to making shit up or have badly out of date info.

Light themes are objectively superior to dark themes, why do so many people still choose dark?
>>107835866Manchildren that don't know how to lower their brightness, funny enough they are also the ones that glorify Frutiger Aero which is the ultimate light theme lol
there are fewer colors that contrast well against white because it drowns everything else out. there are more good dark color scheme than light color schemes because you have a lot more freedom when writing a dark color scheme.

I checked the linked guide and I saw nothing there about laser pointers, can I get some recommendations? I am not looking for anything special, but Id prefer it being a good quality beam/emitter, even if its the bare module with no body and no batteries. Any recs for chinkshit tablets?
Why can't you find any good MP3 players today? I hate having to use my phone (which doesn't even have an audio jack) to listen to music.
>>107828651>which doesn't even have an audio jackHence why you should find a phone that does have it, OP.
Stop listening to music on portable devices. It is satanic. You should be playing music instead, as in with real instruments, and ideally with other people. If you absolutely 100% cannot play music, then a home theater setup for occasional listening is fine. But do not listen on portable devices.
>>107828651Phone are better, also you boughted the phone you should have know it didn't have a jack port, should have just BOUGHTED one with a jack port and microsd one too.
>>107838770an audiophile-/x/ schizo mix, a most potent autism combination, anyways take your meds
>>107828651There's a lot of options, depends on what you're looking for. The cheapest and smallest you can get with alright sound quality are those generic S1 MP3 players that were everywhere 15-20 years ago. Still sold new on Ebay with expandable memory slots. I have an older revision with only 128MB onboard which I still use. Just get rechargeable NIMH AAA cells and you're good. Or get a Walkman. For audiophile autism there are even more options with bizarre sounding names. The newer ones are all as big as smartphones and run lobotomized android, but if you look around you can find older, more sensibly sized models. FIIO X1 is a nice looking one.
i'm gonna stop being a retard and actually backup my shiti have about 3TB of data, i don't have a lot of money so i figured i'm just gonna buy an HDD and plug it in directly once every 2 months or something.Should i buy portable HDD or regular HDD?WD passport or elements look OK and they're somewhat cheap at like $30 per TB
>>107838626i guess sata would be more convenient after all i'd just leave it unmounted and not spinningare those surveillance HDDs ok for this type of thing or should i get a WD RED? they are a bit more expensive though since it's 3.5 and not 2.5
>>107838650As long as you stick to brands like WD and avoid chink shit I dont think it matters all that much
>>107838522Doesn't really matter. I guess if its the same price per tb you might prefer already external or even 2.5" format external.Probably wont be enterprise drives from surplus production atm anyhow.
having to waste an entire USB 3 would be a real fucking pain but external ones are like good $5 per tb cheaper so i'm conflicted now
>>107838522Just get a usb to SATA cable. It's convenient.
>>107838231As someone who was absolutely addicted to YouTube, that is to say had it 15 hours a day open in the background for decades, with a few post-pandemic years being particularly bad, I have to say that it doesn't feel to me like YouTube has much of a future. It's full of slop and everything worth listening to or watching has been exhausted in broad terms. Yes there's more content than one could consume in several lifetimes, but most of it is more of the same. YouTubr isn't going anywhere, the content is there to stay, but it will likely stagnate for a very long time.
