Does anyone seriously use namecheap anymore? They always claim the domain is taken and try to squeeze you for every last time with a "make offer" button. You can just type in random gibberish and it's "taken" every time.

What do you recommend instead?
>>
>>106511843
Anything but that or GoDaddy, they will jack the prices sooner or later and hijack your domain if you're not careful, avoid cloudflare domains too, they don't let you set nameservers lmao.

since windows XP' source code was leaked, is anyone trying to make a modern version of it?

looks like there's some new project trying to fix it up, but they're asking for donations to add ARM64 support, pretty much no chance for that lel
>>
>>106510845
No. That code is tainted. If you look at it you are not allowed to work in wine.
>>
>>106510845
Also that code isn't going to help much. What wine devs do is implement the same functions of Windows libraries but in a different way. The only way windows XP would help is to understand ambiguous specification, but you can also do that by testing what happens in games and applications. It's simply not very useful to have that source code.

>>106511779
whats the point in making it work on arm when none of the software would be compiled for it lol

It doesn't look much better but ray tracing isn't bad, it's just the algorithms used to simulate ray tracing are too expensive. It shouldn't be anywhere near gaming right now since it doesn't bring any value.

Use search engines or LLMs.
They often find videos, if you give them vague descriptions.
Today I was for example able to find the source for >>>/wsg/29418473 simply by entering a description of the scene into a search engine.

I think before making such a claim you have to prove that hell exists and then give us some reliable method of determining who goes there. Quoting the bible is of no use considering there are thousands of interpretations and some christians don't even believe in hell.

>“For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:” (1 Corinthians 15:3-4)

Not at all. Catholics believe you are not saved by works, but yet you need to have works to justify your faith. God bless you.

That's why I'm an atheist. Let the cultists fight among themselves. Hurr my reading good, your reading bad! How about it's all made up bullshit? Along with every other holy book, that you're willing to admit is bullshit because it's not yours anyway? Now go ahead and spout fallacies and social shaming memes (hurr durr fedora!) because the truth is unbearable to the apekin known as man.

I don't know why I bother though, if it keeps the apes from killing each other, then that's good enough for me. Amen!
>>
>>106511730
>I think before making such a claim you have to prove that hell exists.
Fulfilled prophecy and information that only God could have known cements the bible as His word, which He also promised to preserve. And if He says there's a hell, there's a hell.

>and then give us some reliable method of determining who goes there.
Those who die rejecting the Lord Jesus Christ.

“He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.” (John 3:36)

“¶ He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” (John 3:18)

>Quoting the bible is of no use considering there are thousands of interpretations and some christians don't even believe in hell.
None of my business.
>>
>>106511744
>Not at all. Catholics believe you are not saved by works, but yet you need to have works to justify your faith. God bless you.
So a man who believed the gospel and confessed Jesus just as the verses say, can skip over the whole of the catechism and still go to heaven?

It's not the kommandostore hat, but it's very cheap (1.70€ with coins), so I'm tempted (as opposed to the kommandostore one being 30€+7€ shipping)

Would you get white to maximize contrast with the embroidery, or a color so it doesn't get as dirty as quickly?
>>
>>106511485
white not only tracks greys and black dirt easily, but they also yellow as time goes on. i see white as a fashion color compared to dark greys, blues and blacks which are all durability

Don't buy anything OTHER THAN IBM/Lenovo ThinkPad T, X, and W/P Series if you want the Real Business Experience™
>Other business laptops are welcome in /tpg/ (Dell Latitude/Precision, HP EliteBook/ZBook)

Why ThinkPad?
>Used machines are plentiful and cheap
>Excellent keyboards, tactile feel and quiet + the TrackPoint
>Great durability: magnesium roll cage for structural integrity, with high quality plastic body panels
>Utilitarian design: e.g. indicator LEDs, 7 row keyboard layout on older models
>Docking stations that easily turns your laptop into a desktop
>Easy to repair (most models), upgrade & maintain thanks to readily available service manuals for every model, spare parts easy & cheap to obtain
>Excellent Linux & *BSD support

T14 Gen 1/2.
T480 only if it's very very dirt cheap.
>>
>>106509263
don't get a 2242, they're too expensive. a 2230 + an adapter will cost you less and you'll have much more choice in terms of capacity because they're more common
>>
>>106511329
T480 is very good but unless you upgrade the screen panel you'll be disappointed if you watch movies on it. the stock panel is disgustingly bad, but there are excellent upgrade options
>>
>>106511329
>>106511668
>>106511792
T480 is also subject to thunderbolt flaw lottery. Ex. Losing the capability to charge.
>>
>>106511829
you don't lose the capacity to charge, "only" the capacity to charge quicker. and it's not permanent, you can flash the TB chip with a CH341A and fix the issue. if you're not affected by the issue yet a simple firmware update will make sure you never have that issue at all
