Why is the MBA so unprofessional?

It's not just phoneposters. Inevitably, as something gets more popular for absolutely any reason, average IQ of a group approaches closer to population average.
The trend for average programmer IQ is as follows: in the 90-s it was above 120. Before 2015 it was already below 120. And in the year of 2025, financial incentive has dropped average IQ of a programmer to 105. As industry has turned hopelessly hypersocial, it will only get worse.
You are arguing with literal midwits here, reading their 105 opinions, losing braincells.
Avoid using any new "technology" unless you are looking for exploits, hacker golden age hasn't even began.
Rolling release distros, MacOs, Windows are all a 105 technology brought to you by Reddit.
Rust and Go are coping mechanisms with 105 special needs, just like rounded corners on a smartphone that prevent retards from killing themselves accidentally when they answer a phone call.
There is no way of fixing it without active intervention, raise in IQ with access to a smartphone actually concerns the bottomless pit of total retards, you have to reason about a smartphone as a diabolical box which shows you shiny things and you can somehow change the things inside it by just touching the box. This requires abstract reasoning, so the population average gets a bit higher.
It's over, leave tech communities if you value last bits of intelligence you don't have completely fried by politics and objectively retarded arguments, and just use rss feeds at this point and read some retarded 120 iq papers which walk back and forth around a solution and produce massive piles of text, this might cheer you up.

okay i get, like some sort of elites, wef, jews, whatever word. the ones who cant predict the future for shit. like you know how schwab now looks? like a fucking clown
how do you imagine something like a cyberpandemic, how can it possibly happen, when all the world infrastructure runs very different versions of linux sandboxed inside sandboxes? those are just retards yapping, they dont actually know what is going to happen, and they cant have really intelligent people there either, they are just being crazy and detached from reality.
if there is anything the world is spiraling into its further mental retardation in all fields.
>>
>>106466949
its easy to have 100% accurate predictive power, even if one is a retard
the trick is to be the one who causes the predicted events

i heard something about klaus schwab falling victim to an internal coup,
that hes been removed from the head of the WEF
'doesn t really matter
hes not the only globalist, nor is his gang the only group that vies for power

dont underestimate them
while were busy fighting eachother, many people work in the shadows
even the linux foundation works on projects like automation of agriculture

in short, shits fucked

Greetings and welcome to another LGR thing.

What's more interesting than the Ligger 486? I consider this classic to be unforgettable and was lucky to stumble across this one while thrifting, its yellowed case with woodgrain accents having seen better days in the 90s when it boasted average hardware for the time which included a Yamaha OPL3 chipset sound card and 4x CD-ROM drive.

So let's fire it up to install Windows 98, write "farts" in Notepad, listen to canyon.mid, and *Duke Nukem voice* kick some alien ass!

That's very interesting, but what about someone else having access to my flashdrive (for whatever reason), aren't they getting access to all of my stuff, including passwords? Is there a way to encrypt FF when it's not plugged? I can totally see the convenience, but the implications can be a bit wild. Thanks for the write up, though.

"1000W" lol

Never used one, so IDK for sure, but that number is completely made up. 5 18650s in the typical power tool pack gets you maybe 300W. And that better be start and stop, not continuous for several minutes or you're going to have serious safety issues.

Ordered a topre keyboard to try out last week. Why not, right? Package shows up today, theres a sticker on it that says "Inspected by carrier". Weird, never had this happen. Open it up, keys work fine, but then start playing around with the case and notice the entire keyboard is sliding around within the case. Then I turn it upside down and shattered plastic pieces come dropping out, presumably some clips that were broken when they opened it up. Now I have a busted keyboard and get to do all the return claim admin with the seller and carrier... guess this is a sign to just save up for a Model F or M instead

I'm sick of Windows, so I decided to switch to Linux instead. After careful consideration, I came up with two options: NixOS and Fedora. The question is: which one should I choose, and why?

>Any specific reason for why did you pick Debian over Mint with Cinnamon for this?
I've been using linux for about 15 years now, never tried Mint and doesn't have the appeal for me. It may be pretty good for starters, and cinnamon looks good (better than gnome imo) if you're into DEs
My current pick is debian+cwm (OpenBSDs Calm Window Manager), so I have no biz with any bulky desktop environment (last one was XFCE on fedora). cwm it's a pretty basic and comfy keyboard driven WM (no tilling), and since I mostly use fullscreened terminals and firefox, it's good enough for me.
>someone who wants [...] a Linux with a solid base + flatpaks, some containers and nix-shells for a dev environment.
For me distrobox cover all my containers/dev/bleeding-edge needs, and debian 13 has the last version of it. I'm on a fresh debian install now, so I haven't ported everything just yet, but on my fedora machine I had three arch based distroboxes for stuff I only find on AUR, but I like them compartmentalized bcz autism and whatnot

Thanks, anon. Your decision in regards of Debian sounds reasonable and pragmatic to me. A decade ago I used to have a Linux desktop for a dev work, but things were a LOT more worse back then (no nix, flatpaks, appimages, containers and cow fss were shit), so once I hit a dependency hell on Fedora and Arch, I nuked Linux from the machine and moved back to Windows. It was mostly good, until Microsoft decided to enshtify the OS. And now, I just can't stand this keep increasing bullshit anymore, I just hit a point where I'd rather give Linux another try, especially with all the new mentioned wistles that came out over the time that improve the workflow, stability and usability. And I'd rather just to stick to a solid base OS, even with a bit behind packages, that like you mentioned before doesn't garden itself or do unorthodox shit (like immutables, nix/guix, gentoo and other friends do it) and use distrobox with a vm for an occasional winshit. And since I don't want to tinker match anymore, I'd rather have a DE at this point. At the end of the day, I live mostly in Emacs for the last decade anyways, despite using Windows.

STEAM is able to collect statistics on peoples computer hardware. Gamers now have 32GB RAM.

Only a few years ago most still had 16GB.

Within 5 years Intel has lost its importance as gamers CPU. AMD Ryzen becomes more common every month.

Regular home users who dont do games might still be running Intels and dont care for any better.

Intel was on most gamers computers in 2013 to 2019.

Intel's best place was at 70% of all CPUs but those times are gone. However at least they havent dropped below 50%.

The most troubling for Intel is, people who use Intel have like 6 year old models and people are reluctant to buy new models. Meanwhile Ryzens are all new 2020 or later.

They can put that as the minimum/recommended spec, but are there any games that actually need that much? 32GB is when you get into "open 100 tabs without worrying about your PC getting slow" territory
