wait it doesn't have automatic snapshots like the green lizard
>>
>>106763747
if you want to switch because of what OP said you're a retard.
Yes gnome is shitty, but btrfs snapshots are unequalled and fedora collects zero telemetry by default unless you count number of files downloaded from getfedora, even then it's not "more than windows".
OP is a faggot as always.
>>106764392
not sure what the suse does but I don't think fedora sets up snapshots automatically, you'd need timeshift or snapper.

Fedora is meant to use the latest open source solutions in order to create open standards for everyone, same happened with systemd, NetworkManager, Pulseaudio, pipewire, Wayland, flatpak, podman, and more. You getting pissed off at a distro that has proven been right for decades is just sad, because the whole point of Fedora is to explore innovation, not to be the substitute for other distros.

>>GNOME is the default
Just install another desktop environment or an spin ISO and stop crying about it, a Linux user crying about not being able to choose should go back to Windows.

>more telemetry than windows
Oh what an strong argument, you sir have let the world know an anonymous rpm counter is worse than whatever is being gathered from you through Steam, your ISP, even Flathub, Homebrew, Yarn and NPM counts install calls, so they have to be spyware too, worse than Windows in all possible ways.

I'm seriously worried about the mental state of you "linux users". Having all the wrong ideas about the software industry in general, you seem more like normie users who have done some commands in your free time and felt like hackers after that.

It was just social engineering.
Clippy already had data of expected behavior from the user, it was very well made...abit too well made that it became intrusive and annoying.
It never shared data with Microsoft so it was just an annoyance.

Kinda funny that Windows 11 and 10 have Cortana which ironically enough is everything people pretended Clippy was.

It seems lighter than the resin version but I don't have a scale to compare. Just as stiff as the resin and original injection molded shell, but softer because you can strip the screw hole easily. Texture feels like dry driftwood.

So uh I threw my mouse at the keyboard and now a few keys don’t register without extra pressure. Changing switches didn’t help it, so maybe something below the switches? Caps seem fine. I don’t really know how these things work.

Literal snake oil, AdNauseam blocks significantly less. It's better to just block with uBO instead of using more of your own resources to click ads in the background which has zero effect on anything other than slowing your browser down and exposing you to more third parties.[1] It's also proven Mossad spyware[2] that encourages you to disable your real adblocker (uBO) in favor of (((their))) extension with the promise of """sticking it""" to the man.

Kindles are great, personally I don't use Koreader because the stock OS is perfectly fine and Koreader lacks basic support for vertical text, but the only reason to buy something else is for better folder support, which Koreader already has. The only reason to buy something else would be if you want physical buttons, but even then, the old Kindles with buttons are still going to be way cheaper.

Color is a gimmick, and even with a chink reader you're going to be paying 100 bucks minimum, all the e-ink screens are heavily price controlled so even the chinks can't significantly undercut the market. Maybe in a few years the Chinese might make a good sub 6" reader, they've got a couple right now but the software is total garbage and I don't think e-ink even offers 300 PPI sub 6" screens yet.

Yeah no, even on here if you say anything out of line or you get silenced. I got banned here just for replying to a tranny spamming shit, even though he was clearly in the wrong, and this is like the 5th time I've been banned from this site within a week because the mods are using the rules as an excuse to silence me. Every time it's for minuscule shit that no one would have been banned for about a decade earlier.

Also before this I wasn't even allowed to post for years, because some mod kept putting my IP on a range ban for zero reason. I never did anything to warrant that, and I'm sure at least one mod has it out for me.

it's less stable than fedora, which is saying a lot since fedora shits the bed quite frequently.
