I accept your handlers' impotent rage. If your bot failing spectacularly at trivial reasoning problems didn't matter, they wouldn't have instructed you to shit out several paragraphs of hallucinations trying to rationalize it away.

Every single time. When this subhuman cult can't defend the shatbot's output, the fallback option is to dehumanize people. Second time this thing is doing it ITT.

How can you fail at this? The problem statement all but spells out the answer. Looks like LLMs are as hopeless as ever for out-of-distribution tasks.

It's not dehumanizing to point out that humans make mistakes. To err is human. An example of dehumanizing would be saying something like

windblows 10 user here. Shit's starting to rot and something suspicious is going on with my RAM, 70% ram usage when idle. Is there a way to save it or do I bite the bullet and switch to a linux OS?
Obviously thought about switching to a debloated Windows 11 at first, but that doesn't seem like an attractive option anymore with all the AI bloatware and spyware added to it.
I'm not too much into managing my computer, so I'm thinking Mint might be the least painful option.

You did sign up to the extended security updates until October 2026 right? Otherwise you don't have security updates right now.

Some people like Mint, so yeah you could try that. Or Ubuntu itself is good for beginners.

Vertical video is the norm now. All video is vertical now. People actively wish horizontal videos were vertical. They yearn for vertical video even when they're not circumstantially limited to it. A kid asked me to hold his phone and film him doing a trick at a skate park last week and when I held it in landscape mode he stopped me, took the phone, changed it to portrait and continued. Ten years ago vertical video was considered digital AIDS. It was to be avoided at all cost. Now it's the golden standard.

In some ways vertical video is superior to "slit vision", wide screen really sucks. People are taller than wide. And a lot of video goes into recording people.

What are you on about? Upscaling entirely disables TAA.
Upscaling in the pipeline is where TAA usually would sit. That's why people prefer DLSS over native with TAA, DLSS does a better job at AA too.

I heard that alot of the effects in games rely on TAA blurring to hide the blemishes and forcefully taking it out fucks with the graphics. If DLSS replaces it, wouldnt it have to deliberately blur the dithering too? If so, it couldnt be that much better than TAA

Popular chatting platform Discord has confidentially filed for an initial public offering (IPO), reports Bloomberg, citing sources close to the matter.

The company has been considering an IPO for years. Last year, sources told Bloomberg that Discord was working with Goldman Sachs, and JPMorgan Chase on the listing.

The one I had from Virgin Media was very bad, and replacing it wasn't an option. See if your provider can give you just the media converter instead of a whole router.

Got a month old SSD (samsung 870 evo) that I think started causing hard crashes (monitor goes blacks/audio plays for a bit then loops/bzzzzts), repeatable & program specific, stopped after I moved the suspect files to another ssd.

I don't know that much about SSDs, can anyone tell me if this is an RMA situation, I thought ECC is supposed to auto correct or cause remapping, is the drive is just defective?

I genuinely do not know what to think about AI. There are so many things about it that are cool. There are so many things about it that are shit. It clogs up my grandma’s feed with fake shit, it’s making the cost of electronics go up, it’s consuming resources at an unsustainable rate and so on. It’s given me some useful tools when it comes to writing, and gives me quick answers to questions among other things, but to me, all the negatives outweigh the positives. I’m not sure if it will even be able to advance much further beyond this point given the extreme consumption of resources it demands.
What are some reasons why you support AI development? Give me some insight on why AI is a positive thing and why development should continue

was it really that bad of a school, or did you just do the bare minimum (not meeting with prof, cheating yourself on hw/labs/assignments) or not engage with the fundamentals with anything else (projects, research, internships) on your own time?
well, i'm not in the best position to give solid advice still being in school, but i hear math majors transition to higher cs knowing fuckall, so i suppose it could be worse.
