The fact that your pop up camera was going out nonstop was not because every app all the time takes photos from you, its because pop up technology breaks alot

Began a new job this week, helpdesk just to pay the bills. Received a dev level 2 jobs offer roughly a week or two after this.

All I'm seeing at this helpdesk support job is Windows 10 VMs running archaic looking jank fest software in FUCKING Internet Explorer.

Omg, why is every company like this? What is with every .NET shop producing shit that looks like a 2003 MS Office app toolbar?

I was debating holding onto this one but bros, idk. Not even my manager knows most of this shit either.

It's chill in a way but idk, I'm getting red flags already. Onboarding is me going through a few PDFs and most parts of this software crash whenever used.

Man, how do they convince businesses to buy this shit lmao

The history of digital audio
>sony uses 44/16 pcm for their vhs tape recorders and later CD
>people realize running dac chips at a higher frequency sounds smoother and that 44/16 is a compromise
>sigma-delta chips oversample using 1bit cuz less computationally intensive and lower power in spec sheets, new chips every year
>sacd was going to be 96khz
>pcm chips are on their way out
>because oversampling is close enough to highres, sacd instead uses/develops DSD (direct stream digital) to bypass oversampling in the oversampling chips by having the format be the same 1bit oversampled signal
>MSB pipes pcm into resistors, sells for $3000, nobody else figures this out for 15 years
>people figure out how to pipe 1bit/sigmadelta/DSD into resistors

Long story short all the tutorials of programmers i watched online, never liked what I saw.

They all look dead inside, depressed, robotic face and speech completely lacking emotions. And they are content creators-programmers. I wonder what real people who sit at the screen write instructions all day look like. One needs to sacrifice having a fun charismatic personality to be a coder right ?

*John Carmack looks all right though. A bit nerdy but doesn't radiate sadness.

They look lifeless because modern programmers are in most cases people who don't like it but went into it to because of money. This applies even more for Indians and Asians who are forced by their parents to choose one of 4-5 careers pretty much.
The people who make tutorial videos about programming are trying to escape the office. They are the type of video that any retard with a couple years of experience can make.
People who actually like their jobs either don't make videos or make videos of very niche personal projects they made for fun.
If you don't want to endure their negative vibes, just use books instead and talk to people with actual passion on online groups. You will get better at learning without getting spoonfed plus you will build some actual connections with people that will probably do well in their careers.

A lot of construction workers seem actually pretty happy around where I live, but maybe it depends on the country and area.
Lotta people find construction quite satisfying since you are building actual tangible things every day with your own hands that will stand and be used by real people for many years. Money aside, the main drawback is the climate and risk of injury, but if you work at a temperate place that follows safety regulations and you take care of your body, you can minimize the physical long term damage a lot.
Tbh I think the most bitter people I've met were either office workers, teachers or healthcare workers. Staying inside for a long time with people you don't like definitely fucks up people's brains. More so if you don't enjoy the work.
My dad worked trades till 60 and he has always been mentally healthier than most techies past 35.

Real talk, I want to keep my DDR4 RAM not because of the price increases I just don't want to buy another 32gb they are already out of my price range

if I were to upgrade to an i7-13700k or an i5-13400f for starters how much more noticeable the upgrade would be since the 13-14th gen is the last DDR4 gen

However, it was not as fast as the G.Skill from the previous year because the G.Skill was only running 1.1v and the Neo Forza was running 1.2v

You will see zero uplift buying an Intel gen 13 and pairing it with than bargain bin ram. You can’t OC that memory without loosening up the timings to the point of diminishing returns.

artists that think they should get paid for a hobby are retarded
i make art in my spare time too but it's relaxing and the point is the creative process. even if a computer can make better art i don't care, it's not about the result it's about the process of making something yourself

The same goes for programming. It's kinda like chess. Even if we have computers that can beat GM, we still play chess because it's fun. Even if all the programming is done by AI I will still be programming my games because I like the process of programming. I couldn't care less for AI code, the same way GMs don't care about "losing" to stockfish.
