What if AI won’t be able to advance much further beyond what it is now do to the astronomical resource consumption? What if we just run out of the shit that keeps it going? What then?

That is fair. There actually is a fairly large demand in the "cheating my way out of doing things correctly," category. Unfortunately, cheaters looking for a shortcut usually don't pay very well (whether it be in school or professional life).

>>107847907
so? you say that as if a having a manually designed parts invalidates AI tools.
your criticism only makes sense under the assumption that AI should already replace 100% of human labor which is ironic.
of course good solutions will incorporate both manual logic as well as AI.
>>
>>107847999
>professional life
it could work for your typical office type of busy work if everyone plays along and says that required to 'boost your productivity' or some shut, but yeah otherwise such kind of person wouldn't wanna actually pay for it

> you say that as if a having a manually designed parts invalidates AI tools.

My point is that anything that actually requires any sort of reasoning ends up inevitably requiring hand written human logic. These are autoregressive parrots and next word predictors. If your job is able to actually be replaced with AI in a permanent fashion, it is because a random guessing machine could outperform your reasoning abilities.

I don't understand why websites like X.com don¡t allow users to browse the website without an account. I know they do it to force you to make an account but I think that if you allow people to browse the place they will get used to it better and will eventually make an account if they like it.

OLED has the best colours and blacks because each individual pixel can turn off, but will rot away within 3-5 years
miniLED attempts to mimic OLED blacks by instead turning off 1000+ separate backlights, it's pretty good except if you're displaying like lots of tiny bright objects on a black background and then the (comparatively) low resolution of the backlight becomes visible as small areas around each bright object are lit up. The actual display technology used varies (IPS, TN, VA etc.)
LED is just a type of lightbulb technology (often used in backlights), not a monitor type
IPS has probably the best colours outside of OLED but is known for very bright blacks
VA has darker blacks than IPS but worse viewing angles (important for a massive monitor) and is known for worse motion blur
TN is one of the oldest LCD types, its main drawbacks are less accurate colours and also terrible viewing angles, but nowadays the colours are mostly fine, for a long time it also had an absolute advantage in speed and response times and nowadays only OLED really comes close (e.g. 500Hz+ monitors are either TN or OLED)

Trying to install windows tiny 7 with winboat.

So far the installer seems to work great, and runs great.

So, what's the catch here?
>>
>>107848284
the catch is you didnt need to open the terminal to paste 7 commands before it breaks anyway and then you had to manually edit 2 config files and paste 4 more commands before it worked so linux trannies are gonna hate you and the software for it.

This one in particular is constantly noticeable to me on my OLED phone when I scroll in some app that uses a black background and has dark grey text. Very, very easy to spot and I'm shocked how nobody talks about this shit.

>the blacks felt like a gimmick, given all the downsides
The lack of IPS glow is very nice though. IPS glow sucks ass.

Was a problem on my OLED VR headset too, to the point where they just raised black levels on the thing so people wouldn't get motion sick from the blur.

what amp do i need to power these speakers so they will be loud. i am using a sony 200watt amp right now. it sends 100 watts to each tower speaker. and they still aren't loud enough. can someone link me to a more powerful amp for home ? i also tried a rockville 1000 watt amp and that didn't work. i feel like these speakers should be getting louder at lower volumes.

If this is RMS rating then you need an amp closer to 300w per channel. At least 250w.

I have no idea if this still works. But 12+ years ago when I nuked my old account from the original migration from myspace I did the following:
>write small script to refresh my feed and auto-delete everything
>facebook will detect it and stop serving you content at some point
>let it run for 5+ days (longer if you actually used the service more than once a month like I did)
>stop for a few days
>check again, it'll start serving you old posts you made years ago that it was hiding
>let the script run again
>repeat this process until you're sure everything is gone
>request account closure/deletion
>do not log-in for 2 weeks
>ignore all emails they send attempting to trick you into logging in (it restarts the 2 week counter)
>request the CD/DVD of all your personal data they're supposed to send you by law (never got mine, still waiting over a decade later)
>deal with the fact that normalfags are going to be angry for the next 5 decades that you do not accept their friend requests or return messages
