Luckily my family business is niche 3rd party industrial/automation tech. If the work wasn't tech related, It'd be fairly tone deaf statement.

They don't fund me, their(my parents/in-laws) parents, who only have one son/daughter who could have sex, do.

I'm starting to wonder what those kids getting internships at FANG or other companies have that I don't. I just saw some resume from another kid and it was the most basic shit his portfolio was meh nothing good, and he gets the job and my resume gets rejected without even an interview.

And they don't seem like autistic god coders most of them are your regular zoomer hair guy or your typical normie girl that takes pics of their food.

Do you think Signal is sending your data in plain text or something? Surely someone would have noticed by now.

>Use Telegram
C'mon man, it's not even E2EE by default. The competition here is between Signal, Matrix, Session, and SimpleX. And maybe that one guy who's obsessed with Briar. But Telegram does not make the cut for anyone with even a mild level of paranoia. You might as well use Discord at that point.

Doesn't matter what I think. I'm just interested in the fact that nobody can show a signal message in its encrypted format. Everything else is irrelevant cope

/hsg/ is about learning and expanding your horizons. Know all about NAS? Learn virtualization. Spun up some VMs? Learn about networking by standing up a OPNsense/PFsense box and configuring some VLANs. There's always more to learn and chances to grow. Think you’re god-tier already? Setup OpenStack and report back.

>What software should I run?
Install Gentoo. Or whatever flavor of *nix is best for the job or most comfy for you. Jellyfin/Emby/Plex to replace Netflix, Nextcloud to replace Googlel, Ampache/Navidrome to replace Spotify, the list goes on. Look at the awesome self-hosted list and ask.

De-botnet your life. Learn something new. Serving applications to yourself, your family, and your frens feels good. Put your tech skills to good use for yourself and those close to you. lol it's true. I don't know where this meme came from that c was a "hack" thrown together like php or javascript. Even windows NT whose designer famously hated unix chose to use c.

I don't even see the point of releasing a locked down, closed source, censored model if it's not head and shoulders above the free, uncensored, open source stuff. At this point, the competition is so fierce, you need to release something truly groundbreaking to even get anyone to notice.

>On May 16, 2024, Llama Group announced that Winamp would be going partially open source on September 24, 2024. The source code was released in a GitHub repository under the "Winamp Collaborative License", a license restricting the ability to create forks or distribute modified binaries (which is not considered free or open source) and requires waiving ownership of contributions to Llama Group.

>After the source code was released, multiple pieces of proprietary source code were found: the entirety of the SHOUTcast server software, as well as code from Microsoft, Dolby and Intel. After The Register contacted the Llama Group about the code on October 15, 2024, the GitHub repository was deleted.

Ok bros, that's it. It's probably nothing, but I'm getting too spooked, especially since I can't afford to replace any drives right now. See you in a couple weeks. Hopefully this stuff will be fixed by then.
Well, actually I'll just post from Mint if I need to. I'm gonna miss Halo Infinite and Battlefront 2 and all my rpg maker games (Which are installed on the Windows drive), but I'll tough it out. Most rpg maker games can run fine on linux anyway, so I'll just move some saves over, and I also have Halo MCC and War Thunder installed on the linux drive so I can hold out for a bit.
