how often do you clean your keyboard?
>>107858554ok you too. I just cleaned my keyboard (that I use with my laptop) a couple of days ago and it feels great. It had been a while, and I didn't notice it was kinda greasy.
Since mechanical keyboard autism became a ""hobby"" of mine it has become a once a month thing. Brushing the keycaps clean with a horsehair brush is every day or two, disassembly to clean off the plate is once a month, scrubbing the keycaps to look good as new is maybe once per two months. I rotate my 5 keyboards so they don't get dirty as fast.
>>107857958one or twice every 5 years

How can I be sure my workplace isn't spying on my internet traffic through the local cell tower?I don't connect to the company wifi, obviously, but the cell tower is on company land.
Is this real?

they really need to implement what X did where it shows country of origin, for every addon. I want to know if my addon has been touched by brown hands so I can know to avoid it.
what is the point of these keys? remove them
keyboards need to go through a total makeover to be honest. It would effectively require a new operating system to become popular for it to ever happen, though. Maybe mac could try it, lmao.

Zoomer here. I heard from my teacher today that phones used to have a slot like the sim card one where you could put in those digital camera memory sd cards in it. Why did no one complain when this happened?
>>107849362>I tried to buy a replacement, but every "new" battery I found was almost a decade old and they all as useless as the original one or worse after being stored for so longFor popular devices, you can easily find a chinaman who's happy to tell you a new battery rated for more capacity than the original battery. But when you get it you notice it's suspiciously lightweight, unwrap it and find a much smaller lower capacity cell with some bits of plastic or foam around it to pad it out to the required size.
>>107851697Good for you. Sony doesn't sell phones in my country anymore.
>>107853757Same and it's not even 3 years old yet, with an OLED screen, NFC, under screen fingerprint reader, quality camera, etc. Granted, swapping the battery does require opening the phone but it uses tabs and I can order a genuine new battery straight from the manufacturer.
>>107849066I still have SD card on a brand new phoneDual sim tooAnd a 3.5mm jackNot my problem
>>107849114>Same reson we don't have a removable battery anymore.>Moneyno commie retard it was cheaper to make it with removable battery the feds made them change the standard
You don't need a new computer. Your COVID PC is good enough.
>>107853301actual rig itself was set up in 2014 lol, just swapped out the gt 730 and a6-6400k four years later. ended up not upgrading till 2023
1660 super, still going strong>look up new games>it's all shit I've already played, just with different graphics like ue5 blurring, anti soul gas, etc.Yeah, still no reason to upgrade.Feels good.
>>107850517From 2001 to 2015 I bought a new computer roughly every 5 years, waited until late 2022 to buy a budget AI computer, told myself I'd splurge early in late 2025, and then prices exploded. Guess I'm waiting until 2027.
>>107850640same actually, my 2012 PC had an Intel 3820 CPU.last year I built a new one with an i5 12400.it's definitely a low-power CPU but still 2.5 times faster than my old one in benchmarks.

>>107858525How do people put up with the pill notch? It looks horrible. Reviewers don't dare to complain because they will be blacklisted and Apple users are loyal to their own detriment. You will only hear complaints when iPhone whatever will have true edge-to-edge screen and the reviewers will act like Apple just invented sliced bread.
>>107858576>androids have notches too!! who cares that it's 4 times as wide>the dynamic island is super useful!
>>107858576Because it houses secure biometrics and has been integrated into the UI. Although I hate the double-standards when critics slammed the LG G8 for having a wide notch, even tho it also had 3D face unlock. Same for the Honor Magic Pro phones.
Why do you need 24GB of VRAM? What will you do with it that 16GB can't? Most people don't need more than 12 and you NEET highschool dropout hobbyists can get by just fine with 8GB for your projects and old games.
>>107855858i always felt like the 5090 isnt fantastic for AI and its more of a gayming card because 32GB isnt nearly enough

I worked at a company run by indians, who were setting up israeli SIM-internet-activated devices with microphones and backup batteries into 10's of 1000s of peoples' homes (many jokes were made about mossad backdoors). Everything was done horribly manually taking at least 10x more time and effort than needed, and adding lots of chances for mistakes and errors. According to one of the white idiots carrying that company on their backs they were getting jewed (who would have guessed) over the manufacturer's software that can mass-configure all devices at once, so instead it was decided to do it all individually and manually instead. When I was sick of doing shitty pick&pack warehousing for the supposed IT job and told the jeet manager to jam it up his arse, he pathetically tried to bait me into punching him so he could dismiss me or report me for assault or some shit. I am not retarded like him, so I didn't fall for it. The white company founder and HR were very interested to hear about it during the exit interview. It was on camera too. Get fucked.
