Starting with this piece of shit. Any gun that gets a cracked frame within 20,000 rounds is an irredeemable hunk of absolute dogshit. That isn’t even a high round count for 9mm. Glock runs circles around beretta.

>ignorant retard parroting bullshit
The frames cracked at 20k rounds with ammunition that Winchester had mistakenly loaded to proof load pressures. Cracking at 20k rounds with such abuse is actually really good. Beretta built a fix into the M9 to make it even safer anyway.

>overrated weapons
Anything HK. If you can’t accept this then you need to ask yourself why their “new” service rifle is a copy of the AR-15.

Your meme British rifle is shit and you will never shoot one

Tanks are not obsolete they just haven't been updated.

Abrams introduced- 45 years ago

The first ironclad to the first dreadnought was about 45 years in comparison.

Roughly 45 years between the wright brothers plane and the introduction of combat jet aircraft.

Has anybody else even noticed the Fletner effect causing the slugs to drift in the opposite direction of slug rotation beginning at about 750 yards?
If I understand correctly past a certain distance with high powered rifles the slug's axis of rotation is locked at the high angle necessary to lob it that far. It's trajectory is roughly a parabola and as it descends from it's high point the relative airflow means it is traveling "belly-on" to the wind. Say it's right hand twist rifling = the right hand side of the slug is causing air to pile up there - and the rotation is causing the left hand side to "pull in" a similar amount of air.
So like a baseball spun up to be a curve ball - the bullet's path curves, too. When I shoot 1000 yards it is obvious that all the projectiles hit the target in a nose-up attitude. At 1100 yards some of them "have laid over on their side" veered off center. At 1200 yds they are all pointing at random directions and accuracy has gone all to fuck. I don't have a left hand twist rifle to check it against. Also it stands to reason that if you fitted the gun with a custom left hand twist barrel - it would unscrew from the breech eventually. I ain't buying another different rifle to test this - just hoping million to one somebody has a left hand rifled rifle and they noticed this going the opposite way.

need help from anons
looking for a 2-10x or something similar for a first rifle in .223 shooting paper (no outdoor ranges beyond 300m)
having a hard time finding options that aren't a LPVO with 1x. Budget is <500. Any ideas?
>>
>>64751467
3-9x are a dime a dozen and would be great for .223. SWFA has some ultralights in the 2.5-10x range and they're good beginner scopes. alternatively you can look for a fixed power, although not many manufacturers make one anymore. I think leupold and swarovski still make a 6x

just to give you an idea what mindset he and most of the italian generals had:
when the war started northern slovenia was battlefield.
Austrians evacuated the slovenes on their side of the frontline, build new town quarters for them in nearby safe locations. The imperial guards even helped em catch chickens and other livestock when evacuating.
The italians on the other hand rounded the (non austrian, non german speaking) slovenes up, deported them to concentration camps in Ligiuria where half of them died. these were just farmers who had no clue what was going on.
same post war, when the slavic and german soldiers of austria retreated from italy. the italians made em give up their weapons and promised them a safe return. a false promise, they were stripped, beaten, paraded thru towns and a quarter of a million men died in italian concentration camps afterwards.

many italians didnt want to die for the imperialistic dreams of some politicians in rome. after the enormous losses, whole units deserted in such numbers that the italian generals used decimation to keep discipline and executed every tenth man.
bravo, cadorna (and for repeating a little verdun fuckup at least 10 times).

I have a weird gun in my collection that I sure as shit would never fire again. It's basically a very old Smith j frame in 38special but it is stupid lightweight. It feels like a toy. It literally weighs as much as a 43C. The cylinder is not magnetic and it was made well before scandium and titanium cylinders were a thing. I can only assume that it is a grenade with an aluminum cylinder. I've shot it before and it kicked like a motherfucker with standard pressure low recoil hydrashoks.

The LTT NP3 kit can go below 6 pounds for DA. My LTT’d PX4 with a weak hammer spring was 4.5 pounds DA but occasional light strikes I couldn’t tell if it was the ammo or the gun at the time (it was the gun).

imo mushroom knives are kinda pointless, they're just a small blade with a little brush. when I go picking mushrooms i take my Spyderco Byrd CaraCara2.
they're soft little things, any knife will do. and if you find something like a big Sparassis crispa ("Cauliflower Mushroom", pic related) as I have before, you're gonna need plenty of blade length to even reach under there.
a curved spoon carving knife makes sense if you make use of it, it at least offers a function a normal straight blade doesn't have.

It's really what you make of it. I found a purpose even if it's retarded most of the time. At 26, I was a NEET and really had no path forward. Parents were enablers but also at the same time, grew tired of me sitting around at home. Wouldn't say I was suicidal, but I was definitely a sad person before. I now do something instead of fantasizing of doing something.

Recruiters will sell you a bad bill of goods if you're not careful though. Get whatever you want to do in your contract.
>>
>>64752401
Also don't go high speed beyond airborne (only if you want it). I know this is a hot take but cancer rates are absurdly high, as are injuries later in life. Once you get out and health issues crop up years down the line, your discharge papers will say nothing of it, and the VA will tell you to get fucked. It's so not worth it.

This is a job program unless a war kicks off. Make it easy on yourself. Knowing how to blow shit up with C4 won't do you any good after the fact. Get a good duty station to appreciate nature and shit. TS Clearance and using your tuition assistance to get a degree while in will set you up for easy mode government jobs once out.

I grew up shooting with nothing but irons, but red dots are definitely better, not even sure what kind of argument you’re trying to make, you just hold the gun up and put the red dot on the target and it hits the target, it’s really quite amazing, don’t even have to get your eye lined up before taking the shot, not to mention the fact I can passive aim with duals on when using a decent dot like a t2 or exps3 both of which I own (I prefer the t2, set and forget, lighter, more durable, no delamination, better battery life, don’t have to manually turn it on or off)
