Patrias with our homemade turrets are better than all of the APC variants we have now, but that setup can't compare to a Boxer RCT30.

Boxer is a more modern 10y younger platform. It's also heavier(Patria starts at 16t, Boxer at 24t). The previous government was on the right track with signing the contract for 45 Boxers.

Also, I hope you're not that Slovene poster who stated that mounting a vanilla BOV-3 turret on Patria is a great idea in 2025, kek.
>>
>>64706562
Is it still cannibalization if the platform was literally designed with such module interchangeability in mind ?

What is /k/ favorite type of glock?

The Shadow ones are probably "the best". The Ruger seems pretty good, but if you just want a fuck-around gun to dremel on get a couple of PSA Daggers instead.
Real shame they fucked Poly80 out of business, those frames were sturdy as fuck.
>>
>>64707288
The mos# were direct cut from the factory for specific optics
>>
>>64706935
As someone who loves glocks(but not a 'fanboy'), I hate/don't care about the gen 6 at all. New optic system isn't well thought out. The plates are plastic and don't have fences at the front and back to cushion the optic so it falls to aftermarket like FCD to fix the problem. The gas pedals are ugly, and unnecessary for me and most other shooters, really only a positive for competition guys trying to get the gun flat as possible for fast splits. Having the beaver tail be an integral part of the frame and not an add on option with a grip panel was a bad choice. I like the look and feel of the beavertail but it isn't necessary and others may not want it. I don't care about the new trigger shoe, it'll get swapped for something better anyway. And imagine the biggest complaint many people, not me though, had for glocks was how bulky they felt so glock decided to add palm swells to the grip. Idk what they are thinking. Trigger gaurd undercut is gay and retarded. People will talk about how it makes the gun feel so much better but they removed only a whopping like 1 or 2/16's of material, not enough to matter. Seems like they got caught up in trying to throw all the flat range youtuber things onto it and mark the price up $170. I think the only good change they did was go back to the single spring assembly of the gen 1-3 glocks. They also changed the extractor system and the barrel geometry I heard, either in a ben stoeger or mr gunsngear video. Concerned how that will, if at all, affect reliability.

>Ukraine staged the death of a high-ranked Russian fighting on Kyiv’s side to prevent him being killed on Moscow’s orders and lure out those involved in the plot, Ukrainian military intelligence announced on Thursday.

On a tediously regular basis the DPRK uses routine personnel transfers or even vacations to get the RoK to announce that someone was purged or killed for disloyalty when all that happened is they were on vacation, at school, pregnant or just retired. After a while it seriously degrades your enemies creditability.

In this case Ukraine took a page out of the Norks book: Claim that someone had fallen out of favor, let them be 'assassinated' then use it as a sting operation to humiliate their foes, uncover enemy networks and generally punk the foe.

Damn good job.

How many Tsar bombas(100megaton ones), would you require to completely sterilize south asia?

When you get big enough you can make the atmo work for you. The Orion gigaton kamikaze would have detonated above the upper atmosphere, heated it with minimal fallout, and then re-transmitted that heat onto the target continent for a nice even roasting to simultaneously set the whole zone on fire.

A 200 megaton warhead on a drone that fits in a submarine? Doubt it. Hauling along Tsar Bomba at 50 megatons required a specially modified Tu-95 bomber. Quit falling for the propaganda. A heavy ICBM fielded by Russia is much better suited for a shit ton of smaller warheads. That’s been their ICBM strategy ever since they fielded heavy ICBMs. Pretty sure their largest warheads are on the Topols with 1 megaton. China still fields 5 megaton warheads meanwhile
>>
>>64704176
Any plan which doesn't include toronto and vancouver should be dismissed outright
>>
>>64703872

I run the numbers for total immediate obliteration (98%+ death rate) you would need 75.000 titan 2 warheads in a short time span of a few days to remove India.

For a 90% you can probably do half of that amount at around 40.000.

At 500 nukes you kill 34% of the population but only 37% of pajeets live in urban areas most are rural so it takes a fuck ton of nukes to deal with most of less populated areas.

The most realistic is about 200 nukes taking out 20% of the population only targeting the big cities and hope societal collapse does the rest but most Indians already live in a post apocalyptic hellscape so many might not even notice too much of a difference.

But at 200 nukes of 9 megaton you already going to get a nuclear winter planet wide with an average temperature reduction of likely 6 degrees C° for several years (and reduction by 10 degrees in areas far from the sea) and losing 30% of the ozone layer. So mass crop failures worldwide and lots of issues with fishing. Hot places like India might not be as affected by the temperature but the reduced food supply would greatly affect the developing world while the cold would spike oil and gas prices.

Central Asia, Russia and middle USA would likely have the worst of the coolingwith massive crop failures with places like south Italy or Indonesia beaing the least affected.

they're easier to produce than one piece magwells since you need a really massive block to do one piece

they're a real bitch if for whatever reason something is tweaking the magwell part so your pin won't want to go through. You can use the mainspring with and without the magwell.

not having one doesn't make much sense in 2026 since most mags have massive basepads for the use of magwells.
>>
>>64708127
The MSH pin is annoying enough as is, I didn't think about that, I guess for rich guys the extra $70 is worth it

I actually completely forgot my GI 7rd mags outnumber my wilson combat mags 5:1 so I should probably not even bother with a magwell anyway

Pistol related but last question thread died a while ago. Are all 1911 .45 barrels interchangeable with all other 1911 models? I've got a Kimber and want a threaded barrel for it and I'm wondering if I should just get a Kimber barrel for it.

Can someone help me identify this bayonet? It belonged to and was used by my grandfather during the Vietnam War. He was a marine and I can't figure out what it is exactly. It's got a button to release like an M6, but the button is small, the hilt is different, and the blade is longer. I thought it was an M14 Bayonet but it doesn't look quite right and my dad says that he used it on an M16. He was deployed in the late 60s.

No, at that point you're an admin responsible for theater level planning or army policy as a whole. You don't need to worry about fighting the enemy yourself. You have a security detail and the more stars you have the more of a "celebrity" you are and that means your life cannot be risked.
