Is it possible to create super soldiers? What current or future technologies would make this possible?

Making soldiers super means they're going to be capable of even greater feats of stupidly. I don't think that's a good idea.
>>
>>64644046
We would have to super pay them and that's not in the budget.

I might be in a minority, but I don't want Ace Combat to be more SciFi than it already is. X-02 pushes the limit for me. I read in one of the AC threads before an idea that would be great - Ace Combat, but 60 years before current events. The baddies superweapon is an F-16
>>
>>64644066
I'd rather they go full sci-fi instead of this middle ground where they're trying to cram it in before 3 but not rock the boat too much. Just make off brand Macross if you're gonna do it halfway. I'd kill for a Korean war and on AC first though.

I once had a literal fever dream that was quite lucid.
I was me but on a quest to find a legendary sword, maybe Glamdring.
I was sometimes with friends but alone if I forgot about them. We got my sword and then went on another quest for Excalibur. Then five more legendary or fictional swords.
Then we gathered at a round table and conducted a ritual which ended with us lifting open our chests like opening a wardrobe and placing the sword vertically inside, then closing up our chests, giving us the swords blessing or something.
This was some sort of necessary thing for the seven of us to do something with a prophecy.

I can remember quite a lot of that dream even a decade later.

I don't know what to say man. It's been this way for awhile. It's just that all the funny and cool people left because more and more retards kept piling in here with each passing year. Now most of the worthy discussions are held in the generals (eww). Other than that, forums are generally better nowadays. Can you call the Boomer with a stupid screenname and an inflated ego a niggerfaggot? No. But you CAN find comprehensive lists of models, guides for small parts replacement, active marketplaces, and troubleshooting tips way more easily. People still talk guns and stuff here, maybe even shoot occasionally. But it is way worse than it used to be, and it was already bad back then.

I have a M1903 from Rock Island Arsenal and it has some weird Layman sight on it. I don't know if I should remove it and sell it, or is this some type of match built rifle for something like the CMP or NRA matches back in the 1920s & 30s.

I just wanted a nice 1903 to round off my collection of 20th Century American infantry rifles.

Possible add on, but at this point, vintage. Leave it on and cherish it. The 1903 is always the one that got away for me and yours looks great!

Thanks! It was $1200 off Gun Broker, and I was really surprised when I saw it at my FFL, they said it was one of the best they had come through the shop in a long time. I love it, and thankfully I had everything else I wanted before our stupid AWB in this state, but getting a bolt gun wasn't too horrible.

Why, god WHY didn't they send another one of those subsea babies, there's another sub right there and many ships asking to get cucked.
They can't just have one, I'm sure they already have an handful of these new devies, just use them before ziggers counter them with even the most basic fishnet or something.
This is infuriating, Ukraine always find a way tu turn the tables, and be first in developing something new or have new ideas that gives them great results on the field AND the advantage, and they don't push further immediately.
War is all about developing new shit that gets countered and to find new shit to overcome those counters, in an infinite loop. If you don't exploit the favorable part of the loop as much as you can, then it's a complete waste.

Still upset?

>Canberra is assessing whether to send its fleet of 22 aging Eurocopter Tiger attack helicopters to Ukraine as Kyiv seeks more tools to counter Russian drones and bolster frontline aviation, according to local Australian media.

>The review follows a formal request from Ukraine and renewed pressure from Australia’s Ukrainian community, which was angered last year when the Australian Defence Force dismantled and buried its grounded MRH-90 Taipan helicopters instead of donating them.

>Australian Defence Industry Minister Pat Conroy confirmed that officials had approached Kyiv about the Tigers, saying gifting them is “our top consideration,” The Sydney Herald reported.

>Canberra’s Tigers, inducted in 2004 and slated for withdrawal by 2028, have struggled with high sustainment costs, software and parts shortages, and a history of availability problems.

>Despite the fleet’s condition, sources said the helicopters could strengthen Ukraine’s expanding airspace defense requirements, particularly in anti-drone operations.

>The Tiger can field a 30-millimeter cannon, 70-millimeter rockets, and Hellfire air-to-surface missiles, all of which are already in Ukraine’s arsenal and are valued for rapid response at low altitude against Russia’s unpredictable Shahed kamikaze drones.

>Australia is now transitioning to 29 AH-64E Apache attack helicopters, the first of which arrived in October, and officials have indicated the Tiger retirement schedule could be accelerated if a transfer to Ukraine is approved.
