>>65048523>Plaid CymruFucking cucks just like Sinn Fein. You can't bang in about independence, protecting your heritage and culture, and then turn around and import third worlders as fast as you can
>>65053332The average British cooking is just buying pre-made food and doing minimal cooking, cooking from ingredients here is rare now. A big part of the issue is people aren't taught properly how to cook in school and their parents don't know either. It's not even the whole boiled carrots with boiled peas with boiled meat thing anymore, people are too lazy even to do that. Regardless, this all pre-dates rationing, it's mostly the fault of canning/tinning starting back in the Victorian period.Nandos, Tescos meal deals, microwave ready meals and jars of pre-made pasta sauce are more relevant to current "British" food culture than what you're thinking of.tl;dr yes but no it's actually worse, because nobody is willing to do anything new (coz stagnant culture).>>65053952Maybe getting too offtopic but:Broadly I agree but Sinn Fein and Plaid Cymru aren't nationalist parties in the true sense, they're anti-imperialist parties (or perhaps "anti-colonial"). They care more about the separation of powers than the cultural part, it's about it being *their choice* to do it. Think of it like this:>1000 English moving to Wales under UK gov = colonisers taking homes from Welsh people>1000 third worlders moving to Wales under Welsh gov = fellow oppressed victims diversifying our culture and economically contributing to our nationComment too long. >>65054213>>1000 English moving to Wales under UK gov = colonisers taking homes from Welsh people>>1000 third worlders moving to Wales under Welsh gov = fellow oppressed victims diversifying our culture and economically contributing to our nationLMFAO
>>65054228Partly they believe this because they think they're sticking it to the English when they do it (in their mind every English person is a caricature of a Reform supporter). Fundamentally all people attracted to politics are retarded and not deserving of power, the easier a level of political status is to acquire the more retarded it gets because the barrier of entry is lower. Plaid Cymrus barrier of entry (like the Greens, Reform etc) is far lower than traditional parties by nature of how small they are and how even more so than traditional parties they gain votes by brand image more than individual competence.

Would there be any use in huge extremely hard to kill disposable and violent orks on the modern battlefield?
/k/ - Warhammer 40K Lore Discussion
>>65054175in the short term yes since you have a massive shock trooper force, problem comes in the long term since they will lot anything of value and eventually fight you, and if you are going full 40k ork they will forever be a problem since they are going to release spores to make more orks

Knife bayonet vs spike/triangle bayonet. You can get either or for whatever gun you want. Which one you taking?
>>65047157Knife bayonet because 9 out of 10 I'm gonna be using it like a tool, not a weapon. >>65048651Bayonets definitely have a point. Look! It's right there!
>>65048947If it didn't included Teddy Roosevelt I'd call this made up.
>>65047157Blade bayonets are badass and there's no good reason why we shouldn't have them.
My ideal bayonet would be something like a Spanish Bolo/1941 type of recurve bowie, close to as centered a point as possible. A bit larger and longer than theirs, almost approaching a Microtech arbiter as far as where the point is and OAL. Cant be that thick on the backside or it'd be in the line of fire. Maybe a skinnier forte. But the goal is a big almost boar spear end of the blade for stabbing/slashing but also to make it a very effective foraging and camp knife with a big broad blade capable of doing lots of other stuff as well.
>>65052488It is also possibly the worst bayonet ever made.>>65052595Most sawback bayonets don't have an edge on both sides of the blade, I'd guess because the teeth become too weak/bend.

>>65054124You are right, but my post is more vibes based because we are talking about culture and these countries martial gestalts and not specifically their physical organization and structure. The East didn't suffer from the same kind of post war neuroticism as the West and freely continued their Prussian norms and traditions with a slather of pinko paint over them, which is markedly different than trying to expunge every icky martial tradition from your military culture. The GDR was one of the more competent Warsaw pact forces for this reason if nothing else as these traditions and espirit de corps generally take centuries to nuture. Obviously the West German military was capable, but the legacy of the schizophrenic psychology required for propping up a large expendable blocking force while also profusely apologizing for it hasn't done the modern German military any favors.
>>65054184>the legacy of the schizophrenic psychology required for propping up a large expendable blocking force while also profusely apologizing for it hasn't done the modern German military any favorsNAYRT but the rot in Germany is traced to just 3 major factors; 1stly, the mid 90s when Germans insisted on the peace dividend on the back of end of history memes and are still yet to climb out of it (no major increases in Bundeswehr headcount and combat formations in 4 years of war); 2ndly the refusal to tech up post-Great Financial Crisis of 2007/8 to remain competitive against the rest of the world; and 3rdly the mid 2010s decision to import browns because "wir schaffen das", on the wrong assumption that they would surely adopt European culture instead of the reverse, importing theirs and forcing everyone else to conform to theirseverything else has been a downstream attempt to cope with all that
>>65054191You are also right but I still insist there is a much deeper cultural trauma inflicted on west Germans in particular and all Germans by proxy that is in no small way responsible for the sorry state of their military culture and bearing.
>>65054203no man, you have to come to terms with the fact that the Germans today are not the same Germans who manned CENTAG, just like the Brits today are not the same Brits who manned BAOR and fought the Falklands War; that generation had no generational trauma, but it is gonethe current generation is entirely motivated by a completely different worldview that barely understands these things

His comment is about product development and engineering, which is paying MIC contractors to get the projects they're working on to a state where they're ready to be used.So it's not really a matter of cutting our future tech in order to buy current stuff, it's a matter of potentially cutting far future tech in order to get near future tech ready faster.

I’ve seen people go totally schizo and haunt regular threads for years but I’ve never seen the opposite where all criticism is attributed to a strawman that doesn’t exist. You want to run a smokescreen for pedophiles as cattle for Zionists? Good for you. But if for one minute you think you’re free from criticism or you delude yourself into thinking you aren’t going to find out, go ahead pedo defense force, fuck around.

>>65053280It's just a matter of processing power, and its not like you are dealing with a sphere, its a band along the horizon you have to search.
>>65053280I think I could get it set up easy if the goverment paid me about some 500 mils
>>65053286Ok, now start doing the math on how many degrees you can track with what kind of reliability, and therefore how many units you need. Where you need to install them to avoid gaps in coverage. Then figure out how you're going to hide them, because jets are fast and move around a lot. Your AA system is largely static by comparison and trivial to keep tabs on using various forms of ISR. When they start launching stand off munitions (which outrange you) overhead, do you reveal yourself to shoot them down? You will quickly find that the economics of making this happen are extremely unfavorable and you should have just built a good airforce.
>>65054081Daylight good weather detection would be pretty easy actually.https://youtube.com/watch?v=zFiubdrJqqIModern daylight camera pixels have extremely low cost Thermal cameras pixels have like 10000-100000 times more coat though, so might detection would much more expensive.
>>65054174I would add that Ukrianians build similar in principle system to detect Shahed drones. Only it uses acoustic sensors. Now system runs about 15000 networked microphones and covers pretty much entire country. Detects flying lawnmowers day and night and bad weather.
How do you defend yourself against this little thief?
>>65051091So how did a rabbit laying eggs get associated with Jesus again?
>>65053945There was a folk belief in Western Europe that rabbits could give virgin birth, while eggs symbolizing resurrection/reincarnation is a recurring mythological motif going back possibly as far as the neolithic. So when Christianity reached Western Europe the two things got combined.

After a year long absence, the journey of the Busta Move(s) and her intrepid crew continues! Previous installments: https://desuarchive.org/k/search/subject/Target%20for%20Today/>what the fuck is thisTarget for Today is a solitaire tabletop game (translated to digital for these threads) covering the USAAF's bombing campaigns in Europe throughout the Second World War. With options for choosing everything from which Air Force, Bombardment Wing and Squadron you fly with all the way to which submodel of aircraft you'll be flying, the game is rife with detail. Over a year ago we began the journey of the Busta Move, a B-24 of the 15th Air Force (49th Bomb Wing, 451st Bomb Group, 725th Squadron). While perilous, our crew has done far better than the ill-fated men of the B-17s that shared the Big Nigger titles, with our current permanent losses consisting of:>Copilot Harris>Radio Operators Sean Bean and Poncho>Waist gunners Fanculo, Danielson and Sam Hyde, with another (Lefty Navel) being medically dischargedOur bombing results, however, have been much less impressive: out of eleven combat missions the Busta Move has been forced to abort due to combat damage six times, and on a mission to soften up Anzio for Allied landings we missed the target entirely. Our 10th mission, Milan, was another abort but the flight back was a nightmare. By the time the Busta Move returned to base, she had lost two engines, both main landing gear, all of the twin .50 cals had been rendered inoperable, the entire oxygen system had failed, one wing was barely attached, half the crew was wounded and dozens of other minor hits had been taken. That plane was retired and the Busta Move II was put into action, already having completed one mission. For now, strap your parachutes on, grab a K-ration and lets go bomb vaguely near strategic targets!
>>65053384Surely a traitor is sabotaging the engines, right? This must be the huns!
>>65053384
>>65053384Now THERE'S a flight plan with some chest hair!
