All of the Sig optics look like top left to me.
It’s been said already but:
Eotech EXPS2 - the hologram looks like it has static on it, but the reticle is clean
Primary Arms SLX- cleanest and cheapest
Holosun 507 - cleanest pistol dot for my eyes.
>>
>buy a vortex 3x prism because all the astigmatism bros swear by it on k
>the reticle is microscopic
other than that yeah its great. the glass is good. but the fucking reticle is just so tiny. I could get it tattooed on my pinky nail 3 times thats how small it is.

aim small miss small I guess.
>>
>>64336379
The Vortex Spitfire is the same. 5x reticle is small, 3x is tiny.
I don't understand why PA or Vortex can't make a prism with just a simple crosshair reticle. We shouldn't have to pay for ACOG/ELCAN/Steiner to get a decent reticle.

SSW40 has a tip barrel for this sort of thing and also for any sort of shell that's too long for the mag. It uses standard 40x46 shells too so everything's compatible. It really seems like the best solution.

Memes aside the wrist obliterator 9000 from the first Killzone or the grenade pistol from Helldivers always struck me as an interesting design if you could get the recoil to a usable level, a sidearm sized grenade launcher that lobs full power 40mm grenades would be neat but I wonder if it'd even be accurate enough for use if aimed without a stock. I suppose you could always load them with low pressure smoke grenades/flares/etc

Ten years from now, we will tell future anons that this is how it happened. This is how digital overcame analog NV. The analog becometh shit, the digital NVG-90 is lesseth in the shitter.

You could install a rifled slug barrel & and optic, and that will shoot slugs more accurately than a typical smoothbore with a bead or red dot, but:
a) it's still not anywhere close to as accurate as a rifle
b) slugs have terrible ballistic coefficients which means that their rainbow trajectory is going to limit your range long before mechanical precision will. Go look at the ballistics chart for a slug and this ought to be obvious.

International incidents are a couple orders of magnitude more common that any civvie will ever be aware. The vast majority of them are bored trolls fucking with each other
Funniest one was a Chinese intel trawler shadowing us and trying to pick up our garbage when the Norks were doing their "We got NOOOK-- uh, is that a Nimitz? We didn't, I swear" shit.
>Intel has been feeding them bad info for weeks for giggles
>Have D&D group with one of the Intel guys

>Me and several buddies doctor the fuck out of underpants
>Intel guys collect ziplocks of reeking, shitty, sweat-soaked undies with obvious glee
>They put them in inadequately weighted trash bags, add a torn biohazard sack in it, and mix in two bags of shredded documents about a cholera outbreak on board
Chinks fucked off back to port harder than I've ever seen anyone fuck off. Besides a Russian SIGINT ship that [redacted] during a live-fire exercise.
>>
>>64338602
Genuinely what did they hope to find in your garbage? Did they think you were a research ship that just threw away failed prototypes or something?
>>
>>64339143
Ship's trash is like poop, you can learn a lot from it. They're hoping there will be a scrap of actionable intel or anything else useful - supply manifests, broken consumable parts, trashed drafts of letters or memos, even the menus from the galley could reveal information about what's going on in the ship, morale, supply and readiness status, all that stuff. Especially on a ship that big. There's a reason the guys on trash duty (who are usually irredeemable fuckups or doing hard labor in the brig) have to hand-sort the bags. SOP is to incinerate *anything* made out of paper or cloth, melt and compact plastic into amorphous 100-pound pucks that get offloaded in friendly ports, and save all consumables and parts "Beyond Capability of Maintenance" for shipping back to the States to be recycled or landfilled there. All the rest of the trash gets weighted and sunk so it's hard to trawl up, and can't be offloaded at all in water under a certain depth.

I'm in the mood for a /k/ vidya, but specifically I'd like some kind of RTS/turn based tactics/whatever game that has an emphasis on actually using combined arms/transport vehicles/etc. Closest things I have installed right now is the Menace demo, but not only is it a demo but you get exactly one AFV and it's barely faster than walking. Any suggestions?

>500

>590A1
Combat specific model, you can't get long barrels for it like you would use for hunting or clays.
>590
Older version of the 590A1, same things apply.
>S
Like the 590, but without a stock so it's less useful.

As usual, the answer depends on the details you didn't bother to mention: what do you want to use it for? If you want a fun meme larpstick get the shockwave. If you want to do practical shotgun things get the 500.
>>
>>64338481
I plan on only buying one, so as much practicality as possible. I'm leaning towards the 590S so I can run mini shells.
The 500 comes with two barrels though. The 590A1 is built ridiculously tough and the parkerized finish would hold up a lot better in my humid climate I think.

I’m still working on it. If I had a CNC machine it would work much better cuz I could just mill it out of plexiglass, but I have no such funds to do so with rn. Right now my best option is 3d printing -> sanding and filling out layer lines -> silicone molding -> resin casting. Shits fuckin finicky but I still persist on. Also I got distracted by making the grips for that CZ75 >>64328531 cuz I wanted to do the same with for that gun and I got distracted and went down a rabbit hole of 3d modeling for a while.

Something funny is going on though because this is the short Gen2 tube optic, but the reticle is from the longer Gen1
Not gonna look a $700 horse in the mouth though

Am I assuming correctly that if the claw mount I got with it is too loose on this particular rifle, I need to add some shims to the rubber pressure pads that press onto the top of the receiver?

10/10. I wish I got one when I had the chance. There were around 1200 on RTG and that was nearly 10 years ago. Pic rel was when I was messing around and found that a PVS-2 could fit on an ARMS STANAG mount. Not as good though since you can't adjust it at all mounted like this. Starlight scopes are so freaking cool. I am probably going to buy another PVS-2 for my M1A eventually.

Not really. His pre-general career was generic peacetime officer stuff (he did write a thesis on the IRA guerillas) and then he was a fobbit general during GWOT. If you were a captain or a major or a sergeant in GWOT that was good experience, but the generals did nothing of value.

Probably. I remember in (Air Force) BMT one of the instructors was complaining about how expensive switching to OCPs (This was the ABU-OCP transition era) is. He even showed us the math on how expensive it would be for him to switch to OCPs, and it came out to... $500... and how he had to save up for that.
Don't get me wrong; if you're in a position where you have to buy new uniforms, but the military won't give you a uniform allowance for whatever reason, that is bullshit and you should complain (preferably to finance, not some trainees). But this dude, an E-6 (with special duty pay!), was acting like $500 would financially destroy his whole year lmfao. bro I've seen E-2s manage their finances better than this dude ahahahahahaha.

Is anyone developing drone shield?
>drones with proximity fuses that go off when they see something moving quickly towards them) (or something like that) and explosives basically just make an bubble around the ship.
>drones explode whenever they see any incoming missiles
>move out of the way for outgoing
>go back to the shit to recharge, and get replaced by another one when they do it
>alternatively, you could use tethered drones., but that has other issues, i would think
Why aren't we funding this? It seems like a great counter to ASMs
