What chance do they stand? It appears that the Turks are going to support the Syrian/HTS offensive to destroy the Kurds as the government has already starting shelling Tishreen Dam.

I will boycott their company and many Americans will too, they get SUPER uppity about shit like this. Look what they did to Labatt just for using a tranny in their adverts. The company fired their womyn in charge and reverted to regular, non-faggot adverts right away.

Corporations are just scared of losing money, if they think it'll hurt them more to destroy a small number of old guns than to alienate their entire customer base (WORLDWIDE) they won't do it. Everyone should be made aware of it, and I bet some of the large guntubers are going to be commenting on this shit and spreading the word through the internet.

MrGunsandGear usually hops on shit like this right away.

do you carry a medical/trauma kit in your BOB/combat kit? in my smallish backpack, i've put together a few things for major wounds. i also have a larger duffel bag which i consider my real BOB that has some emergency/freeze dried food, a mylar blanket, bottled water, paracord, some spare ammo, lighters, other non combat essentials. but if i were ever on the move, i would probably carry my backpack and leave my duffel bag somewhere safe so my immediately important things go in my backpack.
>8 rolls of 3"x36" gauze for wound packing, individually wrapped
>another large clean cotton rag for multipurpose use like water filtration (plus a lifestraw for actual purification), wound packing, cleaning, etc.
>6 individually wrapped gauze pads for cleaning, wound packing, treating minor wounds
>4 packs of bleedstop hemostatic agent
>1 CAT tourniquet (not pictured, i moved it into my backpack from my main BOB after pic taken)
>plastic bags for multipurpose use, protecting things from water, makeshift chest seal
>3 rolls of adhesive wrap
>small roll of medical tape, breathable, durable, and easily torn by hand
>1 large bowie knife, 1 smaller pocket knife
>1 swiss army knife with scissors and other tools
>paper and sharpie for any note taking
>antihistamines and nsaids in case there is no immediate medical services available. ibuprofen strictly for injuries that involve limited bleeding like a simple bone fracture
>few packs of alcohol swabs for disinfecting
>small sewing kit in an altoid tin which could double down as emergency suture as a last resort

Why have you got three knives in a first aid kit?

am i missing anything important?
>Israeli bandage or emergency trauma dressing (can replace a couple of rolls of gauze if you're short on space)
>2nd tourniquet
>Tylenol (double up with ibuprofen), odansetron or metoclopramide, loperamide (won't save a life but worth carrying for comfort given how little space half a dozen pills take up)
>Gauze pads are not appropriate for packing serious wounds, too great a risk of one of the pads being left inside when they stitch it up. Z fold or rolls is what you want for that.
>50cc syringe for flushing wounds
>Pack the iodine if you have the space and you're confident it's not going to get crushed and leak. General consensus is there's little to no benefit flushing or cleaning a wound with antiseptic vs tap water but in a natural disaster where everything is filthy and you might be waiting a long time for care then it's probably worthwhile.
>SAM splint if you have space. Worth it if you need to limp to a hospital or aid station or whatever.

lifestraws are a total meme fyi. they are the worst water-filtering option on the market. that thing is the most embarrassing part of your kit.

>"tactical" bags make you look like a vagrant
>3 knives???
>fire striker but no ready tinder or firestarters - do you actually practice fire starting? are you too cool for matches? strikers are a pain in the ass unless you've got skill
>no bottle / water storage (but bags and DIY stuff?)
you've absolutely put the cart before the horse

Probably. I remember in (Air Force) BMT one of the instructors was complaining about how expensive switching to OCPs (This was the ABU-OCP transition era) is. He even showed us the math on how expensive it would be for him to switch to OCPs, and it came out to... $500... and how he had to save up for that.
Don't get me wrong; if you're in a position where you have to buy new uniforms, but the military won't give you a uniform allowance for whatever reason, that is bullshit and you should complain (preferably to finance, not some trainees). But this dude, an E-6 (with special duty pay!), was acting like $500 would financially destroy his whole year lmfao. bro I've seen E-2s manage their finances better than this dude ahahahahahaha.

If there's a suspension then the plate is no longer NIJ certified. NIJ cert is totally voluntary and the NIJ has no real enforcement powers for uncertified armor.
What steps the manufacturer takes is up to them. When RMA's 1155 was suspended, they only recalled the immediate lot the failed plates belonged to, which was tiny. They never made a replacement model or got the 1155 reinstated. Hesco, when their 4400, 4600, 3410, and 3610 were suspended, issued much wider recalls and sent out replacements - some people even got upgrades. New models, 4401 then 4403 and then 4601 / 3411 / 3611 were certified. I don't think LTC did anything with the 26605 suspensions. Allegedly both were just internal QC (""supplier issue") but that doesn't pass the smell test since it's NIJ that issues suspensions unless the mfg instructs them to suspend, as BAE did once. I don't see that LTC told NIJ to do that. IMO, that's possibly just a vendor covering their ass. The 26605 has been reinstated twice and is currently certified, but the story is iffy and needs further investigation.
The only major armor manufacturer with no suspensions or product recalls is Tencate, now Integris. Hesco holds the 0101.06 record at four.

You're right, I'm not, but I'm also not making any quantitative claims about WBP vs PSA vs IO Inc vs Riley, vs Pioneer etc failure rate. I'm just talking about manufacturing processes and metallurgy.
I will claim the failure rate for all these shit AKs is significantly higher though than what we hear of or see from real AK manufacturers, or real kit builds done by good builders.

Recently, a group of a certain demographic settled in my neighborhood and I want to protect myself. The lord here doesn't allow for "exterior modifications" so shit like window bars, motion-activated lights, and cameras are apparently out of the question, even though a pack of "teenagers" tried to break in through one of the windows (but thankfully had a skill issue navigating the broken glass and blinds). If you guys have any suggestions for things I can do to improve my safety, I'd be happy to hear them. The main weak points in my security are my ground-level windows, glass back door, and the front door which has an unkeyed deadbolt (so I can only use the shitty knob lock when I'm out of the house).

Obviously I'm already armed, but that's just the last line of defense and doesn't apply when I'm out of the house (and I don't own a proper safe). I'm working on gtfo of this shithole country, but I need something to improve my odds of survival while I remain for the time being.

I haven't used k since all of the ukraine tourists started shitting the place up but hopefully the new jannies let my thread stay.

It's not even slightly hard to jam. You just use another baofeng. It's not like they support spread spectrum or anything else that would make it hard to instantly enumerate the frequency in use and blast cheeki breeki on in.
>>
>>64339840
That's fine because the general rule with jammers is that you need 10x the power of the radio to fully jam them once you account for distance and conditions.
Directional antennas and NVIS can make this harder as well.
Or, perhaps, a repeater with codes.

All of the Sig optics look like top left to me.
It’s been said already but:
Eotech EXPS2 - the hologram looks like it has static on it, but the reticle is clean
Primary Arms SLX- cleanest and cheapest
Holosun 507 - cleanest pistol dot for my eyes.
>>
>buy a vortex 3x prism because all the astigmatism bros swear by it on k
>the reticle is microscopic
other than that yeah its great. the glass is good. but the fucking reticle is just so tiny. I could get it tattooed on my pinky nail 3 times thats how small it is.

aim small miss small I guess.
>>
>>64336379
The Vortex Spitfire is the same. 5x reticle is small, 3x is tiny.
I don't understand why PA or Vortex can't make a prism with just a simple crosshair reticle. We shouldn't have to pay for ACOG/ELCAN/Steiner to get a decent reticle.

Look man, every military ship classification is relative. If I wanted to be pedantic I'd say a "cruiser" is any habitable ship with a lot of delta-V compared to carriers and battleships, and a "destroyer" is basically the smallest habitable ship that still technically has enough firepower to incapacitate a battleship or carrier under the right circumstances. Carriers carry fighters or at least landing craft and battleships are too awesome to use. I did zero research to check any of this because I'm really making a point about how there's little point in caring about anything beyond trying to get a show to stick to its own rules, which is too much to ask for when they won't stick to sanity.
