Chile sending Marders to Ukraine, possibly Leopards.

Chile has sent an initial batch of 30 Marders to Europe as part of an extended ringtauche scheme. They will be refitted and sent to the Ukrainian frontline. Chile will recieve Skyranger equipped vehicles in return. It is likely that aging Leopard 1s in Chilean service will be sent along with more Marders.

Chile planned to refit it's Leopard 1 fleet as missile destroyers and smart mortar carriers as Chilean Leopard 2s and Marders are upgraded by FAMAE and Turkish partners to totally replace all Leopard 1 tanks and M113 remaining in service. Now it seems that the Leopard 1 and YPR76 vehicle pools may be done away with entirely at a rapid pace, sent abroad, as the Leopard 2A4CHL and Marders become the reserve units at an accelerated pace.

A staunch NATO ally, Chile has flirted with purchasing new build Leopards over the years as well as Puma and Lynx infantry fighting vehicles with German arms makers even proposing domestic production. The time for that may come soon. With the sometimes hostile neighbor Peru set to soon induct the K2 MBT and an 8x8 IFV variant of the K808 into service and rival Brazil likely to acquire the CV90MKIV and a new yet announced MBT soon, it is likely that Chile, now with a new pro-military cabinet elect will choose to acquire new build modern armor.

i see no point in bullpup rifles, i mean they go trough all that work, only to provide miniscule results, all because they keep recirculating AR derived slop design.

the only guns i have seen as a viable solution is either KRASA or the "grip repeating rifle", and not for its name sake.. only the bolt design.

anyhow, this is my take on what a bullpup should be.. it feeds from behind magazine, so you obtain 3 more inches of barrel, mix this with the bullpup setup and suddenly what should be a 10" barrel gun, can become a 20"..

i think most of the AR15 domination stems from the fact that it is light and has intuitive controls. grunts have to spend slightly less time figuring it out and they don't get annoyed with lugging it around. and the actual combat meta has been to magdump in the enemy's direction for the past 80 years so any ballistic benefit you might get from a bullpup barely matters.

and i think now you have other countries switching to something similar because no one wants to risk an L85 situation by reinventing the wheel. just use what works and have a pint. etc.

so how does it eject if there's no new case to push it out?
you'd need a rod, which would require you to make the stock longer to fit the rod. way too long.
>>
>>64701359
I thought about this. Basically, 4 cylinder drum, feed at 6 o'clock, fire at 12 and eject at 9. Magazine directly under the barrel and in front of the 6 o'clock chamber. You would need some sort of sleeve to bridge cylinder-barrel gap as to have no gas bleed off. Most complex thing is the op rod because it will split bottom left and top to do 3(4) timed/staggered functions in one go (feeding, ejecting, rotating and locking the sleeve)

Herro dis a /k/ weapons board not /pol faggot politics board, now gtfo

It's almost time for $0 tax stamps. You can finally, legally, have fun. Buy a $400 P1S from Bambu, some Pa6-cf filament from polymaker, and get to work.

Some 3dp2a guys released the FTN 5.0 suppressors recently. There are suppressors for pistols, pcc's, and rifles. Let's talk about the last one.

To start out you will need ONE of these muzzle devices:
>Breek threaded muzzle+ Castle Shield <-Best one
>KAK slimline micro flash can
>1/2x28 to 3/4x16 thread adapter

Now you can print an insert that will attach the suppressor body to the muzzle device. The breek insert is a clamshell design. Put the two halves onto the castle shield and screw on the suppressor assembly. The other two will need some epoxy.

IF you want the suppressor to be permanent, epoxy the threads of the insert and suppressor body. It'll help with the longevity and make a better gas seal.

The main body will NEED to be supported by a sleeve. You can print the sleeve, but the lifespan is shorter with a lot of restrictions. You can use a 56mm ID and 60mm OD aluminum OR carbon fiber tube with jb weld. You can also use fiberglass and resin wrapped around the tube, but this is less effective.

Did anyone submit today? I did 3 sbrs that hopefully get approved, just the whole thing is weird like I thought they said January 1st was getting rid of the CLEO notification, but one of the application steps literally asked for which one, they also don't have a new RPQ form for trustees, and the old one has the CLEO notification, so hopefully they don't deny me and send me to the back of the line with their own messed up bureaucracy. Either way maybe we will get lucky and someone will sue for the whole 0dollar tax is a registry thing and we can just abolish it all.

Lots of ARs here in Yurop and these aren't really a thing. You're going to put on a regular comp, flash hider or a suppressor. There are mini suppressors that do much the same thing though

lets discuss a more interesting topic.

how would chinese hierarchy and command incompetence affect a hypothetical conflict between the US and china? (webm related).
even after a catastrophic failure, the chinese command in control of this navy ship continues fruitlessly trying to attempt the same maneuver while their companion ship is in extremely dire straights and was possibly sinking at the time (not enough time had passed for them to figure this out at that point).

how would this kind of behaviour play out in a hot war where the chinese crew has far more information to monitor, process and is under much higher stress?
