>>97203733I'm probably not them, the only issue I ever had in TTS was my character sheet getting eaten.
>>97202740>The funny thing about GW pushing diversity so hard is that they confirm that each race cared enough to not mix with outsiders and preserve itself. That implies jewdubs cares about logical consistency within the setting they inherited. They do not. They got told to shove niggers in, they shoved niggers in.
>>97202886>skin color racismThere's no such a thing as 'skin color racism'. Race is not just a skin color. Skin color is a function of geography: how far you live from the equator? It has nothing to do with biological race. South Indians, Niggers and Yemeni Arabs are all distinct races (that also hate each other vehemently) despite being all of them being dark brown.
>>97203997By that logic 40k humanity living on different planets for millennia are by default multiple degrees more racially different than any single human currently living on Earth, and not a single one of them is White the way you want to jerk off to. Truly, the grimdark future is grimdark.
>>97201066Daemons operate on Vibes. Battle, and killing, and death involve blood, thus Daemons when manifested in realspace can have blood even if they have no need of it just because it fits the Vibe. You could argue Tzeentch and Slaneesh Daemons would deliberately try not to manifest while having blood just so Khorne wouldn't get a kick out of their deaths, but with the Warp nothing is that cut and dry
>Decide whether the game is within the "main universe" or a separate universe like the disaster that was Danganronpa v3: Killing Harmony.>You need about 20 players.>You have to kill almost all the players, and of those you kill, half have to be murder victims, and the other half have to be judged guilty by the other players and executed.>You have to invent a whole jumble of obstacles for the clue and evidence search phase to discover the culprit.>And the trial phase, oh my god, the trial phase must be mental torture for the DMs, or in this case, I should say... the MMs (Masterminds), and if they've played the Danganronpa games, they'll understand, all the adjustments they'll have to make so that each trial is different from the last.
Can you believe this?At first I thought "2x2" was a fancy way of saying "Danganronpa 4," but it turns out it's just a remake of the second game.
>>97200560The Ultimate Visitor.
>>97200533That is, if you believe the “lore” at all, considering the games made it clear from the start everything was a lie, just to what extent it’s a lie is based on what you want to believe
>>97200129Now how about a home game of Zero Escape? Nine players is a little more manageable, but how do you breed the necessary amounts of distrust between your players especially in later loops?
>>97200129Why not 1 case, predetermined killer and victim, set life period (or none at all), set clues, set amount of debate time, and final vote. Number of players could be from 5 to 15.That seems pretty manageable to me provided players don't get distracted
>author adapts his D&D campaign into a well-written, highly-entertaining animated seriesWhy has nobody done this since?
>>97204294>>97204305It was a different time.
>>97197977the shittiest thing is that it turns down the rape and the gore 98% after the first episodes and it just turns into pseudoisekai-slopAfter the first season the author completely lost all steam.
>>97204593Later volumes flip flop on that, mostly to emphasize how much underestimating forces using goblins as fodder can be and how the goblins are getting nastier over time
>>97204593Apparently he's busy making a Wizardry series these days. Which is funny, because one of the Goblin Slayer spin-offs is literally just a Wizardry knockoff.
>>97203468>all you wanted was "action, action, action" in your animeNo, I barely even watch(ed) shounen back then. It's just kind of generic and I guess I never was much of a fantasy fan
Besides Middle Earth, are there setting with a monotheistic God but has powerful deity like entities who may or not be worshiped?
>>97194872>no argumentTypical nogames.
>>97195686Wouldn't this mean the jew technically broke abraham's original covenant by switching from worshiping El to YHWH?
>>97194208>EscapedHow is it escaping they don't kill apostates even for catholics once you are born as one you will never not be one. unless your thinking of some form of evangelism or a fundamentalist sect.>they don't actually know anything about it, so to them it's just a political faction of fascistThis makes no sense. I don't think any media or person has ever espoused anything close to this. Even in anti-chrisrian works the closest is some semblance of promoting the status quo and or being an arm of the government. But it would be hilarious if a Japanese had it in him to allude to something this absurd.>it's why Muslims fucking hate apostatesNah there holy book tells them to, they don't really care about what the people say unless it's about the quran. They could go on about how much they could have been beaten sure but unless it's about the quran it's met with indifference or annoyance by the Muslim population
>>97204567The caaninate religion thing is just a theory it's not really mentioned in any circle with merit, but on the internet (mostly 4chan) its a semi common thing to run into I remember when I was in University like 2 years ago my history professor said its really not mentionable idk if he was an athiest or a Christian though never found out
>>97204631Anon, it's the theory with by far the most evidence in the field. It's not even a contest.Every other theory amounts to "And then this new religion appeared out of nowhere", which has no scientific merit.

>>97201417What's the timetable you're looking at? Your best bet for the next reprint is next year's RA05 or Battles of Legend set. If you're lucky Purge might be in the XSaber legendary deck product next year (and Impulse in the Mitsurugi deck) but it seems like a tossup if they'll reprint it that quickly given the 2025 tins just did.

>>97203722Kemet. It might seem there's a lot going on, with the whole "pick any power tile as long as you can pay for it" thing, but all you really need is to win fights and claim temple points. You do that by having dudes, and sending them out onto the map. Combat also has a bit of that bluffing element that everyone can appreciate and understand easily (swords win the fight, blood cost the enemy resources, shields defend from blood, cards with high shields have low swords and low blood though so if you turtle up they might just play all the swords and win the fight instead)

Is there a super system that is purpose built to integrate RPG scale, Skirmish, scale and wargame scale scenarios into one campaign?I think that would be pretty epic. You might first go on an rpg party scale infiltration mission to get some kind of advantage for the next session that is a wargame, where if you succeeded, maybe you can hide a unit anywhere on the tabletop.I think I heard people saying that it was kind of attempted in some Old DnD releases and ACKS, but it never seems to really be all that focused on or displayed in action much.Would totally be a niche gameplay style that would require a group both up for rpg's and wargames, but I think it could be pretty epic.
>>97202352Ahh you cheeky rascal, no one is ever going to listen to you because no one respects your opinion.
>>97201660So then the argument against Campaigns-type battle is inane, because that's how dice work.
>>97195895It's how they got banned from reddit. Their discord doesn't know how to interact normally with the places they're trying to shill on.
>>97173092I've been tinkering with this for a while. It's wrapped up in my attempt to create my own surrogate Grimdark setting to nurture my science-fantasy interests.I'm experimenting with 2d6 dice curves, but it seems to be too shallow for what I want to do; I am not a maths head, so I don't have a lot of intuitions about what will work or not beyond research and brute forcing results for myself; I may well end up looking at the dice curve on a 3d6, but I feel like that would be too messy.Dice mechanics ah?The nuances I fear are somewhat beyond me.I want my game to be operating at around the level of Rogue Trader or smaller.Vehicles should be a possibility, naturally, and I reckon the largest "formation" of troops that would move together should essentially be at the fire-team to small infantry section level, and mostly be reserved for "team" type units, like a heavy-weapons team consisting of a loader and gunner, or vehicle crew, or less elite units like a zombie swarm, or a mob of conscripts. As a setting, it's somewhat based on pre-Unification Terra, flavour wise but it's origin is as a failed colony, which became a penal world, then was abandoned as the galaxy-spanning empire collapsed into civil war around it.My setting has>no prominent sentient aliens, but many variations of weird space people>Science from the "golden age" so advanced as to be indistinguishable from magicComment too long. I've been on a space kick recently and want to run a sci-fi space campaign as the GM. What are the best systems for a flexible gaming experience without the autistic complexity of something like Shadowrun? I'm looking for a system that can run "magic" (Psionics, occultists, dark gods, etc) and high-tech weaponry and ships and stuff as well as madness mechanics mutations, cybernetics, horror elements, etc. Visiting weird planets, dealing with intergalactic politics, smuggling goods, assassinations, dealing with alien cultures, learning dangerous magic and technology, etc. I also want the players help make the setting so I'd prefer a flexible system that can handle a multitude of scenarios with cool aliens and stuff. I've heard of Traveler, Starfinder, etc, I just wanna know what system(s) I should focus on learning about first. I'd rather not run it in a Star Wars DnD conversion or Feelings and Lasers. This crowd usually plays DnD or very simple games but are open to other games too. Again I've tried Shadowrun and I'd rather a system that isn't over-complicated and just has the hacking take up 90% of the screentime.
>>97198206Warhammer 40k RP systemMost applicably Rogue TraderOnly War has the better vehicle rules, and arguably the best character creation and advancement rulesand Dark Heresy has the most familiar economy rulesAlternatively Traveller with a lot of homebrewing>>97199699I personally think SWN core gameplay system is a very poor fit for any gameplay let alone a sci fi rpgBut I agree that it has the best worldbuilding and faction gameplay tools, moreso because its competitors just don't than them being truly amazing, but scoring 'not bad' in a deserted competition is still the best aroundAlso Fuck this new garbage juice Captcha
>>97202549>and arguably the best character creation Is that due to the regimental system that fills in anywhere from 1/4 to 3/5 of a starting character's sheet?>and advancement rulesIt shares that with DH 2e so how does it get ahead?

After the the Tau'va manifests in early M42 a narrow slice of the population of T'au plus their populations of non T’au who are faithful to the emerging Tau’va religion. find themselves able to control the elements that the four T’au Castes are named for. This control being identical to the Bending arts of Avatar. T'au castes are locked to only being able to manifest their associated element whilst the non-tau followers of the Tau‘va are able to manifest as any kind of bender though it is slanted toward people who most strongly resonate with a given Element's spiritual affiliation. The number of people in Avatar itself who actually 'have' Bending and what makes a person get it or not is a bit loosie goosey as is so just go along with the number I’m laying out being a clean 1% of the population. Training of the bending arts takes the same martial art & fitness regimes as in Avatar though information sharing and media does canonically make the rarer techniques more widely avalible by the time of Korra so assume bending specializations are as common as they are were in that time.Ethereal are benderless but there is a single reincarnating Tauvatar Ethereal who in on a hotline to Tau'va and able to consult their past lives when and if they’ve accumulated any. If Tauvatar perishes Tau'va will just cook up a new Tauvatar but always starting over from scratch on the reincarnation cycle. Bending is to be treated like a Psyker power in terms of there being forces which dampen or prevent it’s use but the act of doing a Bending art in of itself is to be treated as 'safe' insofar as it‘s having nothing in the way of perils to using it.
Spirit bending, Astral projection,Energy bending and whatever else I missed just now that is op partof the more mystic aspects to bending are also not ever dangerous to us on their own but do try not to get your soul shredded in a daemon incursion. If all this spiritual stuff is to vague to work with that is probably fine being super rare as is.All this freely provided Bending magic to the lucky 1% is ‘not’ generated at any expense of the Tau’va’s power. She/it is still in manifesting in other ways as normal like how she wards shrinesor patrons shadowsun.Anyway the question really being asked is how much of a boon does bending end up being to the benefit of T’au as a faction?
The old meme is that /tg is the board of fantasy eugenics, but that's about races. Which classes are the most attractive and why?I 100% consider warlocks the least attractive. Eldritch blast is cool, and it's true that extradimensional fyne shawties do be having horrific alien curves of dark and sultry implications in harrowing dimensions where other girls don't even have harrowing dimensions, but there's nothing less attractive than a girl who very likely would sell one of your children. Absolutely no way I'd date a warlock.
Why did 5.5e drop the ball so hard? Everyone I know who likes 5e is staying with 5.0e. And more than a few of them have moved to 3.5, OSR, or other games entirely. Is WOTC just stupid?
>>97204491>Is WOTC just stupid? No, they're not stupid. They're a business. They need to sell books, every year. After 10 years, their books were selling very little, so they needed to make new books to make big sales again. This is Business 101. You and I would do the exact same thing in their position.
